My favorite part about MotorStorm was definitely the physics, the whole time the physics felt as close to real life as it gets..

trying to attract attention by dissing a more popular franchise! what are really there in Pure? 4 player split screen? NO! other than ATV? NO! so, no buy from me! in fact, I hate bikes and ATV even in Motorstorm! but I love everything else offered in motorstorm. I'll skip this and wait for Motorstorm2!

As already stated MS2 is far from finished. The comparison is useless.
Also it wont matter anyway if the gameplay sucks. If MS1 is any indication MS2 will have awesome gameplay. Pure's gameplay on the other hand is pretty much unknown at the moment.

I can tell just by looking at the screenshots, they clearly missed their mark if they want to beat Motorstorm. Go ahead and look at those screenshots and tell me what you see. Thats right, CLEAN riders and ATVs catching big air and doing tricks. Thats an auto fail.

Motorstorm isn't about any of that. Autostorm is about mud and destruction. Nobody do tricks in Motorstorm because they're too busy trying not to blow up, and it doesn't matter how good Motorstorm 2 looks because 60 seconds after the race the everyone will covered in grime and mud. Thats what makes Motorstorm a badass racer.

Pure on the other hand looks as clinical as a Disneyland ride. The game is too generic, it lacks an attitude which Motorstorm has in spades.

I havent kept up to date on this game, but i think i rather go with motorstorm 2. It´s hard to get the adrenalin kick you get when you play a motorstorm game. But if pure releases a demo ill give it a try..

Pure and Motorstorm are 2 completely different types of racing games. Pure is an ALL-ATV game while Motorstorm is the "Get the hell out of my way you damn bike or else I'm going to crush you beneath my buggy!! OH SH- theres a monster truck behind me!!!, ARRggHH *explodes*" type of game. Does it matter if this game looks better than MS2? Besides MS2 is still months away from completion.

yes grid is better then all those games i mentioned, its not a full sim its full arcade but it has the best sense of speed, an the ai is increible and the graphics are better then pgr or forza to me , i dont need 400 cars nor do i care to tune my car.

As much as I do Off Road Buggies and Dirt Bikes. This game seems to be the cross platform answer to MS2 but it is not anything like Motorstorm 2. I like some ATV games but can't seem to shake the desire to get back to Motorstorm and I cannot wait to get into MS2!

This looks better than Motorstorm and that's sad. It almost looks as good as the cg trailer Sony pawned off on us for Motorstorm but could never achieve.

A shame that Motorstorm 2 looks little more than Motorstorm with a new location. Maybe the should've made Pacific Rift a downlaodable psn game and gave us Motorstorm 2 next year when they could maybe get something out of the engine.

Pure is going to be better like GRID is with most its competition.

GRID/PURE=New hotness

PGR4/GT5=Old and busted or in MS2's case not good enough

It will be some dumb loyalist mind set from many that will being yelling number of cars vs talking about revolutionary gameplay and new levels of fun not seen in the genre in years new games bring.

even if this PURE game looks better graphically, motorstorm2 will be 15 times more intence than PURE. pure looks good from the trailers, but from what i herd i think from the devs, its not my kind of game.

its mainly about ramps, jumps and tricks. they said you will be in the air more than half of the game. no thank you. the game looks awesome though.

motorstorm2 is going to be vicious SOn!

@ pog- there is a big difference between an arcade racer and a racing sim.

sure GRID is fun and exciting, but gt5 is for people who like realistic car physics, i cant wait to see what they do with the car damage modeling. hitting the wall in gt5 is dumb with out it.

GRID is for people who dont like to use the break much. and like the car to turn with ease. and like good car damage modeling.

gt5 like i said is for people who like realistic car physics in a game.

Grid's damage modeling and visual effects are so advanced I had a piece of body work haning from my frame on my LAMBO and Sun light was reflecting off of it shining on the pavement in the shape of the piece of body work when I replayed the race the light from the hanging piece was reflecting on the pavemnt still and on other cars that got close, the physics in the game are great in their own rights too.

No game created has the sense of mortality and sense of danger or the feeling of success when you master the cars in grid each with very different handling and build strenths.

Don't just play the demo the demo is nothing compared to the full version.

If you need to play games with ultra real car physics play Forza 2 if you wan't to play a game that does what the other do all in one in some cases surpasses their strenths in other racersz; Sim and arcade alike play Grid.

Freebies for GRID:

*Make sure you tap on the brakes repeatedly do not slam on the brakes all the time, use the pressure sensitve anolog trigger too on sharp turns when you need to do more than tapp brakes on mild turns.

*Use the pressure sensitve anolog trigger in turns after braking do not slam the gas untill your car is out of the skid and your car is pointed in the right direction.

The info is for the Xbox controller you may need a fresh controller to get the most out of the game.

well, you can swap engines in forza2 and have a lil bit of damage, but talking "car physics" forza2 isn't as accurate as gt5. i think forz2 overall is better than gt5 but when it comes to realistic car handling gt5 gots it down packed. i like gt5 better, and gt5 for a fact "will" be better "IF" you can swap engines and have better car damage. but for right now forza2 has most of the package.

I almost for got if you are judging GRID's handling off of the demo or what previwers said or even a couple of reviewers when it comes to the supposed *twitchy handling* its a myth Codemasters have either fixed that in the retail version or made the demo like that to appeal to casuals.
Grid has stellar handling the over the hood view is the best and seems to give a forza like feel.

We dont know exactly which title will be better. We have to wait and see and stop with the fuking fan boy comments , cause they are makin me angry.. the more sh1t i see over here the more i dislike both consoles..

When the game comes out we will see.. for now both title look good from the screenshots..
