OXM: 50 Cent will be the 'Burnout' of FPS games

50 Cent: Blood In The Sand game director Julian Waddows says he wants his game to do for shooters what Burnout did for racers.

And the way he wants to do that is my exaggerating what is there. "We wanted to do for the shooter genre what Burnout did for racers," he says in an interview with Xbox World. "What Diablo did for RPGs. We wanted to take all that makes the genre fun and exaggerate it."

Wow, this is getting more than insulting. First they say their game looks better than Gears and now they compare it with Burnout.

This piece of 50 Cent promotional crap is worth less than 50 cents. I hope this game bombs (But judging by 2 million unit sales of first 50 Cent game, I don't think that is gonna happen).

You are looking at this in bad way , they're basically trying to point out they don't wanna pull an EA and sell 2 millions cause they know it'll sell. Like most other devs , they wanna do something different and challenge themselves by getting the good factors of games and apply it to their games.Uncharted devs did the same.

They probably used the wrong choice of words but then again people are boycotting this cause they don't like 50 cent , fair enough, I prefer games that deliver as opposed to how much you like the main character.

The last one was rubbish and this will be to. Hell if 50cent appeared in movies like the rings or star wars trilogys they would be awful to because he's in it. The man just sums up everything that is wrong with the world.
