2K Sports Says FaceBreaker is Not a Boxing Game

In a developer call earlier today, Matthew Seymour, Executive Producer of Don King Presents Prizefighter took a little rip at EA Sports and their upcoming arcade-style boxing game, FaceBreaker. When asked about his feelings on the competition, Seymour had this to say:

i have to agree with him here, facebreakers does not look like a boxing game but more like a fighting game instead. i saw a clip of someone drop kicking an opponenet in the ring, wtf?! that isnt boxing!

Facebreakers should have been a Psn/xbl downloadable game. There is slowly a big hole being pounded into the market and games like these are going to be lost in the mix of big disc based games. Some games are just going to have to go download only.

2K would say that this isn't a boxing game when they name of their boxing game is.....
