Technically, the Cell is capable of blasting every other CPU out of the water running Allegorythmic's New Substance Procedural Rendering Engine.

and let's not forget that the 6MB/s is only 1 SPU, so include the other 5 SPU's and do the math, yep, 36MB/s total!, compared to the top of the line Intel Penryn Quad core, which you need 2 cores to run the game, so 2x 8MB/s = 16MB/s total.

Xbox 360?, can only run the game with 1 PPE core at most, the other 2 cores are for the game engine and OS, so 4MB/s total.

and graphics?, the Cell completely destroys an 8800 GTX at ray-tracing alone, so if it destroy's that, it will destroy the Xenos (360 GPU) more.

The Cell can process geometry, indirect lightning, animations, physx (Killzone 2 is doing them) and a lot more, 360 can do physx, animations obviously, but not as good as the Cell.

Aswell as the RSX being received graphical upgrades from OpenGL to support DX10 features and alot more, which is one of the reasons of what the RSX was designed for btw.

and Remember the bull about a redundant core? Well yeah there is a Redundant core, it runs the Redundant Sony Security that is already running as IBM Designed Cell Security. Redundant Core Security is why the US Air Force wanted all those PS3 not IBM Cell Blades!!!

I know this is off topic but the above individual "Video Kojima", if you click on his profile and see his comments for the last hour is posting the same "potential" spoilers for MGS4 (although its more likely be a load of made-up rubbish). However, thats not the point, he's spamming the site, please everyone, REPORT HIM on every comment he's made, he needs to be banned from this site if he's acting so immature to potentially ruin other peoples gaming.

Because it's a highly anticipated game that has been suspiciously quiet recently. And after Getaway and now Red Alert have been cancelled, the fact that R* is declining to comment makes it news. It leads to speculation about maybe this too, will be scrapped along with 8 days and the others.

Also, if you've got mails from PR people saying there's no comment then feel free to publish them. If there's enough interest for the game, then I'm sure it'll be newsworthy. :)

Yeah at this point why would they even mention any news on this game, GTA IV just came out so they want to keep all the focus on it going into the holidays. I don't expect any news on LA Noir until next year at E3 or Sony gamersday.

Why do people keep saying when EA buys out Take two, this stuff will happen? For all i know Rockstar only has a few months till they can break away from Take two and be their own company, and still till today Take two hasnt take EA's offer, and last i checked LA NOIRE wasnt announced for the 360, and only time will tell.

as of right now it aint official for the 360, you wanna check? check gamespot.com IGN and the other sites, as for the GTA IV comment, you really tryna start somethin? Lets see 360 has a bigger user base out there vs the PS3, like people said it would move PS3 systems, GTA IV wasnt suppose to sell more copies on the PS3, it did rather good over in EU, it actually outsold the 360 version over there and as for the US thats another story.

umm.. your wrong, it was supposed to sell more, GTA has always been associated with PS. Thats why the last 3 gta's were all best selling games on ps2, all in the top 4. That like saying Halo comes out tomorrow and sells more on ps3.

huh? by what 300,000, where as in the U.S. it got outsold by 2 million!!

in the end, remember this, The 360 not only took and sold more of PS best selling and most popular franchise, but it even runs better on the 360. Believe it kid, l.a.noire is coming to 360, and your delusional fanboy wishfull thinking isn't going to make a difference.

I think you're both delusional. What about "No new information on LA Noire" don't y'all understand? It might stay PS3 exclusive, it might not. Haven't we learned anything from Bioshock? And oh yeah, Sony cancelled Getaway and 8 days, what do you think that means? You honestly think the money intended for those project are just gonna stick around the corner and not on some new IPs or an exclusive third party game. Why don't we just wait for future announcements shall we?

not only does gta4 run better on 360 from a technical standpoint, but there were massive problems playing online and problems because of the mandotory install with the ps3 version.
