From what I have heard it's a little bit of both and all progress you make in the demo can be transfered to the full game.

graphics aren't as good as cod4 though but the environments are better as a lot of the scenery is destructible

I don't understand what people want out of an FPS.

Destroyable stuff? Check. Better graphics than COD4? Check. Vehicles? Check. Huge maps? Check. Hectic fighting that doesn't degrade into spawn camping? Check.

Anyone who thinks that COD is better than BF:BC needs to get their heads out of Infinity Ward's ass, and into DICE's.

Seriously. After playing that demo, I'm BAFFLED by the people in this thread who actually think COD4 is better. I have never been baffled in my life until now. Now I'm baffled.

EDIT: This game is so great, I'll play only this demo until the real game is released in Japan, sometime in August.

BAFFLED.

I doubt that most people are with you dude. Maybe the little kids who don't understand how far game play has come since Wolf3D etc., and maybe the nerds who think that graphics should leap and bound rather than take baby steps.

But anyone, absolutely anyone, who has been playing FPSs for longer than 3 years, will look at this game in absolute wonder.

I should say anyone who doesn't have IW's peener in their mouth.

We know what good is, and this demo is good. If the game is anything like the demo, I'll buy two copies and send you one so you don't have to ask mommy for money.

If COD4 is the best FPS you've ever played, you've never played an FPS on PC. I think maybe your expectations for BC were a bit too high. Because it's awesome.

Yes, I'm emotional about it. It would be a travesty if COD4, which has a horrible online lobby, short matches, no variety, and no vehicles, were to be considered a better game than this.
