Saints Row 2 pushed back to work on co-op, says analyst

VG247: Lazard Capital's Colin Sebastian put out a note this morning saying he believes the now-confirmed Saints Row 2 slip into the back half of 2008 was made to further work on the game's co-op aspects.

will be tough for any multiplatform games. We have good titles coming out for the PS3 and the 360 in the second half of this year:)

Well guess who was floored after seeing gta4 in action, they just realised that a simple saintsrow 1.5 wont work with gta4 as competion

the ONLY advancement saintsrow had to gta was its superios grafiks and those where shattered to pieces with gta4 :P

would be smart for them in incorporate in Saints Row 2, because they know that a lot of us would have loved that in GTAIV. Most co-op games are fun for at least a short period of time:P

6 - basically
saints row looks for whats missing in gta and makes thier game based off of that a few things spring to mind

1. co-op (now they may possibly add it)
2. customization -a huge plus and good idea
3. they want to make better vehicles
4. they try to top it graphically may take them a bit for this one

7 - UH OH... OFFICIALLY WORRIED ABOUT THIS GAME...
...now that it has slipped to October. Was REALLY looking to finishing the summer with this game. Enjoyed the heck out of Saints 1, but Saints 2 risks being completely insignificant and most likely overlooked the later in the year it comes out. Too bad....

I think it was a bad idea to release it the same year GTA IV comes out. Maybe if they got the game out first it would have a chance. Now they just need to wait til next year. I will probably play MGS4 six time this summer and beat GTA IV so Im sure I won't have time for this game. I will be buying all the PS3 Exclusives this year and Gears 2.
