LOL @ the story is captain planet meets power rangers. Ironically two of my favorite shows when i was young.

Review sounds on point, they complain about frame rate but i doubt i will notice $hit. Can't wait to face off 100 enemies that ought to be insane. NG2 can't wait to play

Too bad about the framerate problems. Hopefully it doesn't have tearing problems like most next-gen games have.

The last ninja gaiden played flawlessly except for some camera problems, but there's no real way around that

NG2 won't be the funnest game but hands down this game has the best fighting system for any action game bar none. The enemy A.I. is also pretty top notch, you never feel like enemies are dancing around waiting for you to strike as you see in games like God of War or heavenly sword.

God of war beats out gaiden mostly because of better production values, better story but when it comes to combat, games are light yrs behind gaiden. It wasn't until after sigma i realized how lame the fighting system in GOW was. One thing i wish is for GOW combat system to be a lot deeper than the square square triangle combo.

By the way, i too would rather play MGS4 :D

Your damn right. God of War 3 and Wardevil will OWN Ninja Gaiden 2.

Devil May Cry and Ninja Gaiden can't touch the story and gameplay in God of War.

MGS4 will be the game to own in June BALLLINN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Completely untrue. I beat Sigma on Normal dying a good number of times but usually due to an unbalanced blocking system or the camera completely screwing me over. And for the record, many sources claim Sigma to be harder than NG: Black.

The story of the series is horrible, no cinematic atmosphere. The skill is all about timing, nothing more. Once the time comes, buttonmashing is just as evident as it is in HS or GOW. And in terms of difficulty, quite frankly, there is a difference between hard and cheap. I like how X-Play ripped on Black and Sigma for this. It's not just a hard game, it's total BS at times on purpose to make it overly hard. That's not fun at all.

i'll rent NG2 and play it. Sigma was fun but i traded it in.
i don't hate NG series... i just hate itagaki not because he hates the playstation brand, but the sh!t that comes out of his mouth and his attitude.

i will never pay retail for any of his games. ever.

Its a game where you are flying all over the screen in confined spaces. I imagine trying to have the camera work 100 % of the time is impossible. It is frustrating though.

And honestly...I never made it through the first game. It was not very kind to my button mashing ways. Still had a blast with the first half.

The Debug review code had some loading issues, while the framerate issues seems to be present in the retail disks as well

Bioshock, Mass Effect, Gears, Halo, and EVERY cross-plat game running and looking better, AND Live, WITH "in-game XMB" (lol @ sony), all on the less expensive console, WITH included rumble.
