I hate teaser traliers....they are usually so dumb...they rarely tell us anything about the game....but, this one did. In Skate 2 we're gonna be able to skate in space :)

EA is finally taking things to the next level.

Tony Hawk used to be better. The last good Tony Hawk game was THPS3, ever since then the games have been mostly garbage. Well at least thats how I feel.

add flatland tricks, plants, and the ability to place the deck on the rim to make a drop in and we have a winner :D

the new system is awesome it just lacks a whole set of tricks that doesnt base on flips or spins.

I'm worried. I hope this teaser doesn't mean an international themed game with no open city / semi sandbox feel like original.

Original ruled. A bit more variety and more moves with real online would make it 100/100 PERFECT.

First of all, all Tony Hawk games were bested by the original Tony Hawk. Secondly, no skateboarding game was better than SKATE. Not even Thrasher: Skate and Destroy.

THPS3 was the peak, then it died down from there. I thought the next gen THPS would be better but it incorporated some flick movements. Those were neat at the time, then SKATE. came in. I personally liked Thrasher Skate and Destroy because it simulated a better "realistic" style of skating.

I think THPS has their work cut out for them. They either switch up the controls or just give it up. People will enjoy the true skate feeling. Although I cant rule out that the THPS franchise has been out for awhile now so switching it up could also be hard for faithful followers.

With that said, Skate 2, I can only imagine, will have newer tricks (flips, manuals, grinds, grabs, freestyle etc.), walking capability and skating around the world. The first one was only San Valeona so the 2nd teaser trailer could imply that you can travel around the world to skate. I wouldnt like to see a space version because that would just take the realism out of the scenarios/stages.

Hope they can let you take a photo of yourself and put it as your character.

Do we need another Skate game already?

The last game JUST came out. Now that DLC and updates are the norm, we don't need new EA games every year with nothing but minor changes.
Unless they have some major plans for this sequel, just update the the game I already bought.

That's why I never could stand EA Sports. Their games are only worth buying every 5 years or so.
