Fable2 is not going to give you the Fallout experience just Fable1 did not give you the same experience as Morrowind. If you are expecting such you will be dissappointed.

Fable one was a great game for what it was. Was it groundbreaking? No. Was it fun while it lasted? Heck yeah. Its just too bad it was so short and there was nothing to do after beating the main quest. You give me the same game and fix those two things and I will be happy. Give me that and one to two other cool features and I will be estatic. I think its possible. It sounds like they have done it...but its always better to take everything with a grain of salt, so I will go with just being happy instead of estatic.

And it was a let down. They promised a lot for this game and not a lot made it in the final build. The combat was really easy and you could beat the game in 10-12 hrs. playing straight through.

Hopefully the sequel is actually challenging.

Anyone who thought this game was hard needs to buy a Wii.

There were a great deal of limitation on Last-gen hardware, irrespective of the platform, yet the 1st-gen xbox did have the edge but it wasn't until the end of it's life cycle that developers go to grips with what they could and couldn't do

This-Gen (rather than call it Next-Gen which it no longer is) hardware allows much more than before, it's one of the main reasons many developers are bringing out their older games that they have had sitting on the back burner for so long. Just waiting so they can do something with them, with hardware that doesn't need system upgrade etc like PC's do. That way they can build to suit a set standard, and work within that, rather than build for either end of the spectrum and hope for the best.

Pete is aiming high, but with good reason, he can deliver a great deal more now than before, and if you sit down and spend the time going through the video diaries at Lionhead, you'll see actual gameplay and work in progress showing many of the aspects he discusses actually in action.

Which is again something developers never did in the generations before this. If he delivers 1/3 of what he says he's aiming for, then gamers will certainly be well rewarded. Even MGS4's dev has said he's not happy with his final product, and that it's not like what he 'wanted' . .no developer is, and what they aim for is often NOT what eventuates.

We should be very grateful that they aim so high in the first place, without the visions they have, we'd still be playing Pong on Arcade consoles. Not what I call warm family fun in my books.

it was meant to be. Same deal with Killzone. But like Killzone 2, Fable 2 has the potential to be way better than it's predecessor.

But in either case, I may be alittle biased, because I love Fable 1 :P

Ok, I may be both a PS3 and a 360 fan. But still. :P

I have a PS3 as well as a 360 and haven't found any superior graphics yet on the PS3. They are pretty close in all comparisons of multi-platform games too. I don't care which console you support, the graphics on both are pretty amazing.
