Can't wait for this game. I had this weird flash back of Roller Coaster Tycoon when watching this though. Something about the colors reminded me of it.

I am drooling my mouth off for this game, I LOVED that they kept the voice actors for the units and the "computer help" plus ALL the crazy stuff that makes Red alert so legendary among RTS

I love my Red Alert :D

I still think EA should die after what they did to Westwood... and Bullfrog.
As for RA3, I think it may end up closer to Generals and C&C3 rather than the originals.

At first I was sceptical since it said EA. Just hearing that EA is taking this game over is beginning to worry me. Trailers can really alter what a game really is.

Anywhoo. It looks good, and it's awesome that they kept the old theme song. I'm going to get it on PC. RTS on consoles is just.... Odd. I don't like the idea of it. Not at all.

Looks like when this comes out I'll buy an NVIDIA 8800 to go along with it, not that this game needs it, but I've wanted one anyways. And I'll have to start using WINE. :( Stupid windows/console "exclusives!" Many games are made on Linux so why not let them be on Linux?! Oh.. right.. market share :(. Oh well, WINE still takes care of all that.

13.1 - PC is the way to go
RTS's can only be played on PC's in my opinion. It's too hard to play them on the 360 or PS3. That is unless they implement the code to make it keyboard/mouse compatible on the PS3 like they did with UTIII.

nukes explode and taking out everything for miles around.. this missile implodes sucking everything into the center where the missile strikes! very good if you wana take out a close group of enemies that are close to your own troops!

Red Alert 2 was my first RTS I ever played. I played that on the computer all the time before I ever got into console gaming much. Deffinitly gonna have to get this just for the memories alone.
