When me nephew(kid) played thar game it happened! Mark my words! The lads character Niko Bellic(yarr!) was attacked(evil) and raped(rape) by horde of black people(racism) who were on cocaine(drugs) and swearing(foul language) like the devil himself(satanism)! And then came people in red(communism) and pink(homophobia) and ended this dumb story(cruelty).

Anyways, it's more or less the same amount of idiocy as in this article.

First of all I have to say...I'm not against GTA at all; The game is rated "M" for mature audiences and it was intended to be played by this kind of audiences. But I have an issue with stores selling the games to kids and parents that buy the game for their kids and don't spend time with them to let them know it's just a game and that those rules doesn't apply in real life.

I like the fact that everything is always blamed on the entertainment industry from rape to drugs to why my kid is a dumb as%.Little known facts!

1. Did you know that the same year video games were made RAPE was also developed. Somethng with the game PONG that just made people go crazy and rape the innocent.

2. Did you know that playing the SIMS actually makes you want to hold a family hostage and make them go pee at your will.

3. Did you know that President Bush plays GTA4 thats why were at war rite now. He's totally pis#ed!

4. Did you know that during the development of COD4 they took the tactics of columbine and played off of that for the game play.

These are all stupid conclusions and comments and this is what the damn polititians are trying to get people to beleive. It couldn't be that the government is to busy blaming other people for their f&ck ups. The schools need more money and better facilities (in poor districts not the rich) They need metal detectors, they need the paddle back in schools, they need to be able to bend a kid over at a young age and spank him or her until they realize that stuffing johny in a locker is a bad thing. I guarantee you that the violence would stopp. Bring the kids in off the street and actually help them. Dont just give them a high school education, (they just get one leg up on the drop out) give them two legs let them run instead of hop. Give them college or a tech school paid for in full by the governement. I know they can afford it. We spend aproximately 1.5 billion every two days in Iraq. Stop blaming the entertainment industry for your f%^k ups congressman, and senators. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly though, you have to give GTA some credit. It is after all an adult game that only appeals to children. Kids use this game to live out their adult fantasies. Personally, a game like GTA holds little value for me, its just a novelty that wears thin after a few minutes of game play. I need more substance from a game.

But then again I think there is a bigger problem if a kid is willing to reenact what he sees on a videogame. Their decision making skills are obviously what needs to be addressed.

Blaming the video game is just an easy target.
