According to a preview of Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise by Danish site Gamereactor - translated by VG247 - Rare has confirmed that cooperative play will feature the game.

"One of the game's most important new enterprises is opportunity to tend your garden with a friend by your side," said the piece.
