Snowbound is just really small, its a good map for king of the hill. While this map, is probably the best all-around map in the game.

Snow Valhalla looks nice...but this map (for me) is only good for snipers. How the hell is someone gonna hide when everything's white. You'll stand out from a Kilometer :) away

I'd only play this map if everyone had white armor on and all the guns, vehicles etc could be turned white. That would be awesome.

The map packs become free after a time. There is plent of free content on LIVE. Dont worry, if you had an Xbox 360 you'd know that.

Um, they already said this is just a mod, not an actual map by Bungie. Well, the MAP is by Bungie, but the snow isn't. Someone else just made it. It won't be available to the public.

i disagree. The maps that users have made for Halo have been awesome. He's just defending bungie's skills. I've played alot of awesome maps that people have made for Halo 1 on pc and they've almost all been awesome. One is a complete re-creation of Hyrule field from OOC, with the ranch and all. It replaced the grenades with bombs, you had a boomerang (wasn't exactly the same but still cool), bow, and hookshot, among other actual guns (bow kicked all tho). One other map is a 5 km ctf map that has F16 jets, stealth bombers, nukes, fast hogs, tachikomas, mechs, and a uber sniper rifle. One other is a large island level that has all normal weapons, but is just a really awesome and unique level. you can pick up halo 1 for pc for $10 and download halo ce (which bungie released) and easily find the maps on google and download Halo map editor (bungie). So screw that guy for saying that user maps aren't good. He's just doing damage control since users can make better maps than they can.
