Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Bugs Not Limited to PS3

Apparently, the bugs that gamers have been experiencing with the PS3 version of Rainbow Six Vegas 2 are not confined to just the PS3 version. Many gamers have reported that they were unable to connect to servers, the game would freeze and require a restart, and many reports of connections being dropped caused Ubisoft to look into the issues.

Now, Xbox 360 users have noticed some issues with their version as well. Some of the bugs and glitches reported mostly occur when gamers try to carry data over from the original RSV which causes a gamerscore glitch, but issues regarding start-tracking have also been confirmed.

Sonarus that was funny LOL. Its obvious that Ubisoft rushed the game and we got the shaft now because we have to wait for a patch. This is down right criminal.

the infamous repeating gunfire sound that happened on the original RB6 is also / still happening on this new version. Must be a Unreal Engine issue.

8 - This is why game publishers need to hire full time QA guys.
If you look at Bethesda Softworks, you will see a big difference in the quality of their titles vs the quality of other titles. The biggest reason is because they have a dedicated QA dept. Where as the ubisofts and EA's all run sweatshop QA operations trying to cut corners and cut costs. You end up with less quality work and the games show it. Buy More Bethesda Softworks Games. I'm not saying Bethsoft games are bug free, I'm just saying there is a difference in quality.

He's saying he hasn't had any problems with the game. And considering this is the first were hearing about problems with the 360 version I think his point has some merit.

9.3 - your bubble count shows you need to head to the open zone
both versions of the game have bugs i played on the 360 version i dunno about the ps3 version but apparently they both have problems GOOD WORK UBISOFT on putting out another mediocre title
and btw what problems did you run in to on cod4 on ps3 because so far ive had no problems with cod4 on 360 or ps3 soo you=fail

this is a reason why im patient for release dates. ya, sure. delay the game if it needs more time. i dont mind. maybe sniffle a lil....but id rather spend my hard earned cash on a reliable, complete, and flawless technical game then have it all right now. shame on you UBI.

i got rainbow 6 vegas a few days ago for ps3.. it is damn near impossinle to get into online games with your friends.. some would be able to join and some cant.. its a shame and a sin.. pisses me off..

NOT only that but the game runs in ONLY 720p.. we are in 2008 now, why make a game that runs in ONLY 720p.. i am verry dissapointed in the presentation of this game.. I got an HDTV early and it only runs at 1080i.. so Rainbow 6 looks HORRIBLE on my TV.. I am almost forced to by another HDTV but i know "real" developers will make there games span ALL HD settings.. UBISOFT is just panzy company like EA now.. and will stay away from them.. Back to COD4 i go after i complete the single player..

Can anyone on here give me some good advice on a descent HDTV i can get for around $800?? that would be verry useful

So the game is really quite broken on both console...? Sound like a rush launch to me those are the effects of GTAIV and GT5. Shame on u Ubi ur last promise to deliver the best game on both console are scatter into pieces now.

The game experience is smooth as a butter on the 360 (unlike on the ps3), obviously some people will try to drag the 360 down out of spite.

I feel bad for the ps3 guys that like this game and want to play it online running into all these irritating problems.
