Great In '08: 10 Games You Can't Wait To Play

After the deluge of great games that were released in 2007, you might think that this year's crop of titles are destined to underwhelm when compared to the likes of Bioshock, Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, Super Mario Galaxy, and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. However, a number of high profile games scheduled for release over the coming months should have gamers everywhere doing the pee-pee dance in anticipation, giving 2007 a run for it's money as the best year of video games ever.

I agree, there are many titles that I would have included instead of some of those but you are right. People can feel how they feel.

Personally I would find it hard to put up 10 games I am most looking forward to because there are a lot more than ten.

thats true, either way we know ff13 will be great, and gt5, resistance 2, doesnt mean they need to be in the top ten all the time, its this person's opinion so let it be that

A good list IMO. I'd swap Mario Kart with StarCraft 2 or Prototype though.

7 - Its tough to list 10
It seems like there are just so many winners this year. Call of Duty 5, Killzone, Resistance, Super Smash Brothers, Gran Turismo and a select few other games may be top 10 worthy, but its tough to really decide. The list is very good, and it would be hard to get rid of any of them. If I had to part with any, it'd be ninja gaiden-- only because its a more hardcore game and a lot like myself don't like the difficulty-- and Fallout because the trademark has changed hands, and may have lost its charm. But then again, Fallout is in the hands of the guys who made Oblivion, so its hard to judge.

All in all, by far the best list I've seen so far. No WWE, or Lego games, fortunately.
