Yea right, you launch a game in the Spring and the content doesn't come until fall? For the people who would still be playing that would be a benefit, but that exclusive content will hardly dictate sales. GTA4 will sell better on 360 because it has a larger install base not because of the exclusive content.

what was that rant about?Take it to the open zone if you want to vent your fanboyish opinions. I really don't understand what you are trying to say....yes the downloadable content for the 360 is coming out at the end of 2008. Right ok, and what exactly?! Oh ok, after reading through your comment again and again, i got what you were trying to say. I dont think when its released people are going to care about the downloadable content, more concerned with the game as a whole, then when the game has been played to death, which it will be by the end of 2008, new content gets released, which will spark life back into the game again, can't really be seen as a bad thing can it. I'm sure PS3 will get its own content but no need to start trying to start annoying people by comments like yours, like the PS3 is the only way to go. You are just as bad as the people you have just complained about.

On topic, glad to hear the downloadable content is scheduled for this year, really looking forward to this game, can't wait.

I think a boycott would be a little rash; the game will be good even without two missions.

I've been wondering though, can this really be seen as bonus content? Or is it more likely content that was in the original version that was stripped from the disc thanks to a heft payment?

its like ms is paying for missions and stuff that should come already on the BLUE RAY

rockstar is already making the dlc so it will mostly be done when the game comes out but they are saving it for xbox live dlc, not really fair to PS3

By boycotting the ps3 version, it only reaffirms what MS wants to happen. Paying for exclusive content is setting a horrible precedent. If paying for exclusive content results in higher sales, then this act will only become more routine.

On can see where this slippery slope goes. Maybe Sony and Nintendo can purchase the content for some games, but they can't keep up with MS in all games.

Well we are talking Microsoft here, and we all know they love giving away free stuff when there's a dollar to be made. All the extra purchases needed to make the 360 wireless and with a harddrive were free so why not this right?

MGS4 you have a point
KZ2 and R2 lose to Gears 2.
WKS could be countered w/ Infinite Undiscovery/lost oddysey
LBP loses in User created content to the new XNA
FFXIII won't be out till 09 possibly 2010.
Gt5 has decent match in Forza 2.

and even with all those GTA is a bigger franchise then most of those combined and exclusive content will go a long way.

Oh yeah, you know those racing games- they really push consoles. Killzone is pre-rendered crap. The first Resistance fell short. Lots of smoke, no fire. But hey, at least your PSFree is good for watching HD movies!
