I find it funny that you say that, yet your picture depicts p*****g on the very platform you will be playing it on.

I'll be interested to see the specs for this one though, if it's not as bad as Crysis or Assassin's Creed then I might have a chance.

Why do you consider this a problem?Dont forget what OS you will need to play Mass Effect on.

So in the end Microsoft still gets your money one way or the other, and guess were some of that money could be pumped into?Developing more games for 360 and Micrsoft games for windows

This was so obviously coming to PC, hopefully it will be a little more bearable on PC, because on 360 is very very annoying. It seems like this RPG was based on talking and that's it, most (if not all) of the side missions make you just talk to a few people and then go back to the person who gave you the mission, that's it!

While what you say is true, the fact of the matter is most people have already bought an OS, for you know, their PC. So MS isn't getting any extra money. MS owns the OS market, with Apple and Linux somewhat chipping away at it. They're not selling extra copies of Vista for 360 games being ported over.

They are losing sales on the 360 side though. For instance me. I was definitely buying a 360. Bioshock, Mass Effect, Gears of War. I havent' played them yet, and was waiting for 65nm to come. Now with this, I might as well just upgrade my video card. My PC already has a QX9650 in it.

^^^^ that's big :) using your 'magic' in this game basically pauses everything so you can pick out which power you want to use and where. Plus a new inventory screen very sweet.

Seems like if you own a good PC then the PS3 is the console to get. Its "exclusives" are exclusive.

Ill give this a try even though im not an RPG fan but it gets alot of props from you guys!

So, just like Bioshock, all I had to do was wait just a little bit longer. Hopefully Bioware won't go by the way of Halo 2 and force me to use Vista to try and run this.

Either way it looks like I get to enjoy the adventures of Unisex Shepard!

13.1 - You are sooo wrong about this.
You can play Bioshock, Gears, and Me with a $360 PC. I have these games and I play on max graphics. I'll give you the links to what i have on my PC if you don't believe me.

Crysis yes, but not any ported xbox 360 games.

It's not $360, but it's still fairly inexpensive and will provide enough power to run all the latest games, including Crysis.

NVIDIA GeForce 9600GT (a little slower than the 8800GT) - $170
((Releasing this month or early next month.))

GIGABYTE P35 LGA 775 Motherboard - $80
http://www.newegg.com/Produ...

GeIL 2GB DDR2-800 RAM - $60
http://www.newegg.com/Produ...

Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 2.2 GHz - $125
http://www.newegg.com/Produ...

Seagate 250GB Hard Drive - $80
http://www.newegg.com/Produ...

Corsair 450W Power Supply - $80
http://www.newegg.com/Produ...

Since you already have a computer, you can just reuse your case, optical drives, keyboard, and mouse.

TOTAL: $595.

15.1 - WFT you been smoking?
You PS3 fans realy just hate it that no matter what... if you wanna play this game, you need to own somthing from Microsoft.

PC = Microsoft (no mac or Linux support here :( boo hoo)
Xbox = Microsoft

Ether way they be getting your dollor :) MS appreciates your buisness, please come again XD

You guys are to freaking easy.

but it's not really about MS still getting the money it is about MS taking money away from the xbox name. They still need to show xbox is a viable platform and how are they proving that when all they do is put all their games out on PC as well? Shareholders and board members can say drop the xbox and just make PC games.

Microsoft didn't get any of my money.

I bought my Dell PC from a friend for 80 dollars (XP already installed).

I have since spent 270 dollars on parts to upgrade it. (512MB Video Card, 2GB ram, DVD / CD burner, 350W PSU)

80 plus 270?

350! and that's the price of.......an Xbox 360 premium.

Cha-ching!

I have a computer with better specs than a 360, for the same price, and I'll be playing most of the same games!

And guess what videogame console I have...

A PS3.

So I've pretty much got my bases covered, don't you think?

Who is the publisher for Mass Effect? Its Microsoft. And they probably are publishing Mass Effect for the PC version as well. And even if their not, its a decision that they are most likely going to be happy with.

This is an expansion of markets that Microsoft consider to be their own.SOny or Nintendo have no vested interest in the PC market because Microsoft will also benefit from their games being released on the PC.Thats why Sony and Nintendo exclusives will never appear on PC.

Games like Huxley and to an extent Universe at war will enable cross platform play between 360 and PC.Will you say Huxley will sell less systems or sell more due to that decision.

PC gaming is slowing down because of piracy and to a larger extent consoles.Microsoft is helping giving gamers the decision (not console fanboys)to stay on PC and and 360.

As i stated before its not a problem the game has sold what it can on the 360 so its time to pass it on to the PC.

And if you hate 360 so badly that you can never imagine yourself owning one, then get the game on PC because it is truly amazing.

LOL i lost a bubble.

18 - MS is going to end up selling 5 million copies of this game
Make sure your "Microsoft" Windows has all it's updates before playing this game Sony fans. Be sure to update your rigs aswell, I'm sure it will requir some high end tech.

Maybe you can play this on a MAC, or with Linux, Unix, or Fantasy make believe OS system made by Sony.

LOL sorry couldn't resist.

the 3 games i was gonna buy a 360 for: ME, GeoW, and Bioshock, can all be played nicely on my new PC. i cant justify buying a 360 if all there great games make it to PC. Its a trend right now i dont see stopping.

24.1 - Yeah and how much did you pay for that PC?
Way more than double the cost of a 360 for specs comparable to a 360. Plus I'd bet your monitor is way smaller than your TV. 360 $400, 26" HDTV $450, mid-range surround sound system $350 Total: $1200. Similar PC setup with specs capable of running the games as well as the 360: $3500 plus downloading drivers and maximising settings and all the other tweaks to get the games running properly. Not to mention the kicked back on the couch vs. sitting in a chair. So I guess if you have a lot of extra time and money PC is the way to go for gaming. Me: 360 setup for gaming $400 Dell for PC stuff. $1600 and comfortable with extra cash for games > $3500 and uncomfortable with less extra cash for games.
