Rez HD ending hints at a sequel?

Spencer from Siliconera already beat Rez HD. At the tail end of the credits Spencer noticed a difference from the PlayStaton 2 version.

Clearly Spenser did not play the original Dreamcast version more or less actually beat the game throughly.
