You're nuts Power of Green you think the HDMI would magically turn the 360 version's dirt ground to have individual blades of glass. The PS3 version is better and the demo has been out since early 2007 on PSN. This game looks like a PS2 game anyway. This shows that even crappy devlopers can make superior PS3 games than 360 games.

The PS3 version doesn't look very smooth, or rich.
It looks like there is excess picture noise from the PS3 version for some reason.
Instead of having a lush green look to the grass and trees, everything has a sharp white-ish glare... strange

This is definitely NOT a shining example of a fair comparison...

I'd like to see a side by side comparison of a game that doesn't look like sh*T... And preferably a comparison where the overall video quality doesn't look like it was taped with a VHS camcorder

Why did they turn black level to extended on when only using the component cables hooked up to a TV? The extended option should only be used when connecting the 360 up to a computer monitor that does not have the same default white reference level that TVs have.

Not that it matters, this game looks like total garbage on both systems. But I think that people need to be taught as to WHY you would use something OTHER than the default settings on either console.

Because from reading the posts below I get the feeling that most people have no idea why.

I wouldn't worry about the video you should go take a look at the RGB Full Ninja Gaiden Sigma before and after thread.

If games look like 480p without RGB Full; Sony should be in deep sh*t, its either that or somebody doctored the before pic to make the differences more extream. Why should I believe anything any Sony fanboy can whip up?.

MEUS Renaissance or whatever posted those RGB Full threads earlier today' I believe can't remember so don't take it to the bank.

I'v cought him faking news posts before with PGR4, he was using PGR3 pics passing them off as PGR4 pics mixing them in.

I cought him when looking closly and the textures and effects were all wrong and then the ultimate proof was the Plates on the cars themselfs, they said PGR3. If he tries to lie I can easily find the post. lol

i think its funny that when ps3 users were complaining about the unfair comparisons, xbots (like above)where saying 'its cause the ps3 is junk' but NOW its unfair cause the 360 isnt tweaked lol...

these vids prove that GT doesnt want to put the work in and do the comparisons properly. all those multiplat games need to have their comparison vids taken down or re-done the right way to see a proper comparison, not gimping one system vs. the other for a one sided show.

Most people who have a 360 have the component only version anyway and that includes Zhuk and Power of Green. Power of Green probably has multiple 360s, but he has the component version nonetheless.

The one on the right looked better to me, although the video quality was poor for any comparison the one on the right had more vibrant colors, and appeared a bit cleaner. The one on the left did have faster load times, however we're talk about a screen coming up maybe 2 seconds before the other. Hardly anything to whine about. I also noticed that the one on the right had more animation sequences (Bar scene), which was probably just something done by the devs.

People are going to jock the console of their choice, but anyone that says the one on the left looked better...well, whatever.

If you actually research the difference between HDMI and Component you would learn that Component is actually better than HDMI. HDMI is used by Corporations because it has DRM

You are definitely right about that, esp with the fact that some TVs can't get 1080p through component.
As you go into greater than 1080p, the digital signals with the HDMI will start to show its deficiencies. HDMI and Components only difference is the number or plugs, but its still on one collective wire, and with the recent color designs on the plug, only color blind people will not know how to plug it in (No offense to the color blind or blind people)

I know of some tv's that dont accept 1080p signals through component (my sharp being one of them), plus theres the obvious benefit to not having to have separate digital audio cables - but in picture terms i dont see any difference.

HDMI is better than component. Component is not a purely digital signal like HDMI. With component cable quality plays a role - because of signal loss. With HDMI, you can gold plate all you like, the signal is exactly the same as a cheap HDMI cable that works. Either it gets the data or not.

To be fair on the comparisons, they should use best from both - meaning - both should be HDMI output. Comparing the PS3 HDMI to the XB360 component is just as stupid as the GT comparisons that try to make the PS3 version look bad. Why the hell can't the people making comparison videos not get it right? Are they stupid or something?

RGB is suppose to use HDMI, Component is HD and it can be used with RGB on full. You don't need an HDMI to have the RGB on Full, You can use Component with RGB on Full and notice a difference on the image quality

Don't like being called a crybaby, then don't "cry" like a baby. It's simple realy, go to any gaming site on the net at anytime and you will see lots and lots of Droids crying and whining. All because your last and you believed Sony's BS and now your not getting sh!t from Sony.

The saddest thing of all to me is the Xbox brand is comming off a 25 million install base, where the Playstation brand is comming off a 120 million install base but yet you sell 7 million in a year. By way of comparison and being as fair as possible the PS3 should have sold about 16 million in it's first year. To top all that off you whine and lie about your attach rate being a 7, adding movies and games to that, when it's realy a 3. Then you all cry, b!tch and moan about DMC4 going multi so you start a b!tch fest petition. Then you whine GT to death so they admit they compare with component to component when you realy want then to go HDMI/PS3 and component/360 so it would look in favor of the PS3. When in fact if they did actualy go HDMI vs HDMI the 360 would still look better and then you guys would b!tch about that. Lets not forget the whine "LAIR" fest of 07 and the F*** Valve, UBI, Capcom, id, and EA "buckets of Droid tears" over ports and lost exclusives ????

You starting to see a "crying" pattern here? Wii owners and 360 owners don't need to cry. Wii owners are 1st in consoles and 2nd in games and 360 owners are 1st in games and 2nd in consoles. It's allways that last place, bronze and 3rd place losers that do the most crying. Kinda like you, huh?
