I study animation so it's my passion and I completey adore this, The main villian (sorry I dont know his name) looks so cool, I think I will like this game even if it plays crappy (which I doubt).

EDIT: I just realised that its not the gameplay that seems off to me, Its the weapons there is just something about them. I'm sure I'm going to get a bunch of dissgree's but the weapons just dont sit well with me everything else looks Epic to say the least.

I just watched a trailer where they are in a jungle and there is a sniper rifle that incinerates enemies and a gun that shoots white lasers so whatever I said about weapons I take back. Now I'm hyped for this game.

Game looks beautiful, but my main beef is that there is very stiff facial animation that it looks unnatural. Actually, there is almost no facial animation. Outside of that, nice character models and environments.

50+ Hours of Gameplay & the most incredible graphics ever seen on a console video game.

HS & LAIR run less than 9 hours on BluRay & even their great graphics don't measure up to MASS EFFECT.

HS and Lair had mediocre graphics, since they focused on thousands of enemies on screen at once, whereas Bioware has put all their effort in small spaces. This is equally what Epic did with Gears of War. That's the main reason why all PS3 titles faints in comparison to 360 titles in terms of graphical quality. If there ever was to be developed a PS3 game with MAX 20 characters on screen, then you'd be getting eye-popping, unparalleled graphics. But until the devs at Sony realize that 1 billion things happening simultanously don't equal graphic quality, we'll never see any full potential. A tragedy really. I do have hopes for Uncharted though, I believe that title will set the standards of graphics... even against Crysis. Yes, Crysis looks stunning... but let's wait before flaming huh?

Anyway, I'm very pleased to see Mass Effect turning out great. Being an EVE fan, this title has me hooked already.

The scale of HS and ME is totally different, in HS you got this thousand character on screen with individual AI while in ME you got this 6-10 guys on screen. However, I think HS graphic is better if you look at facial expression overall texture (I'm not bashing ME ok,).
But ME has a very promising future, I'm looking forward to it.

I don't think there is a way to download it to your Hdd. I suggest letting the vid start, then hit pause and let the stream load. That way it won't be stopping every few seconds.

after googling and I used orbitdownloader(I have no idea if its spyware free, so removed it after downloading and then scanned for spyware there was nothing) and IE. when you hover your mouse over the video, you will get something to click, next you will get a menu, choose the one named "Mass_Effect_4". Its a 300mb file and it downloads at around 70-100KBps, took me an hour to finish.

Yep. The 3 Aces in 360's lineup, + PGR4, Lost Odessey ect, ect. And some great multiplats with COD4 + Assassin's Creed + VF5 + Army of Two + Kane & Lynch... still enjoying Bioshock, Madden '08 & MOHA is a blast.

Action, Sports, Strategy, Racing, RPGs, FPS, Fighting, RTS's on the way too...

But IMHO, I'll be playing the MASS EFFECT Trilogy for a LOOONG time. Can you imagine what MASS EFFECT 2 & 3 will look like ?!?

I think MASS EFFECT will be my favorite Xbox 360 Trilogy next to GEARS OF WAR.

@socomnick: This video certainly has some 'spoilers' being that it's the 1st 20 minutes or so of the game, but he doesn't show you everything. Too hard for me to resist watching !!!

jen5en ur rong if the ps3 cud perform well in those circamstance as 1 the 360 gpu more power full than the ps3 gpu god it does not even use direct x tech thus most ps3 games take advantage of what it can do which is proccessing power thus lair/warhawk/hs are disighn like that and ull notice those games play at 30fps which is quite pooor this si due to the rsx not workin gwelll with the cell and the card not haveing real horse power

Recently i came across this beautiful woman, i couldn't think of a word to describe what i was seeing (you would understand what i mean if you saw her, let's put it this way NO MAKEUP, her friends yes, makeup, her no makeup) now I'm not trying to compare her and the game but if you need a like for like well she still wins, but this game totally rocks big time. People please don't start flaming it's getting old PS3 has it strenghts and weakness don't all consoles, just enjoy and have fun, NINJA GAIDEN 2 that rock too, time to win the lottery so i can spend more time with my 360.
