Borderlands Will Not Require a Hard Drive on Xbox 360

From the official Gearbox Software forums:

Hey everyone, my name is Steve Jones and I'm the lead programmer on Borderlands. While we are doing some amazing things in this game, the Xbox 360 version will NOT require a hard drive. The game will take full advantage of the hard drive if it is present, but again, it will not be required.
