Latest leaked Sonic 4 video is worst thing we've ever seen

It genuinely amazes me when pretty much all the sonic fans know what they want to see. We want to see a sonic game, exactly like sonic 2/3 but just with a little updated graphics and in hd. Keep the gameplay exactly the same. Keep sonics speed and movement the same. It amazes me that all us fans know how to make a good sonic game but sonic team themselves don't. Why do they screw up the games like this? LISTEN TO US!!! Why is sonic so floaty in this version? Geez. Ugh whatever, I think on the whole this game will be good. But come on, this isn't really a stretch for Sonic. Remember the Casino Zone in Sonic 2? It was basically pinball.

Ugh, I felt very sick just watching that clip. The other parts in the game may turn out fantastic, but that was terrible. A tilt mechanism in sonic?! I don't know though. It could be fun, but I doubt it.

Okay, the '3D' character models looked really s**t. I remained defiant. The early previews stating it feels more like the Sonic Rush series rather than the heavier/weightier feel of classic sonic. I remained defiant. Terrible mine cart level controls. I'm officially out.

It doesn't even matter if the person playing was just terrible as the controls seemed awful. It just shows that SEGA have let me down; and others I assume.

Same story with iPad and need for speed, when you tilt it the camera tilts, its just terrible.

the sonic model is the one from unleashed scalled down and viewed side on.

sonic has changed so get that out of your systems,

this runs a physics engine and improved graphics engine then any 2d sonic of corse its going to feel different..

Four Zones, each with four Acts (with the fourth Act of each zone always being a bossfight). The minecart bit is only around for one of the lost labyrinth zone acts.

I heard from a friend of a friend of a reliable source that this is just one type of "one zone" gameplay of many. He sent me an e-mail containing the description of another one of the cool gameplay type SEGA is cooking for us. It says:

Strange Helicopter

This Act is played by using you mouth while Sonic rides a helicopter. Press RS up and down at different speed, using your tongue, to change the altitude and blow on it to speed up or slow down Sonic's rotor blade but watch that you don't make the angle too great!

that stage looked really bad, mechanical wise. i'd rather run though that stage than have that mine cart tilting stuff. maybe sonic should just be on the handhelds. his games seem to be better, the advance series and Rush series are good. although i would like adventure 3, but thats not going to happen. instead we get a werehog.

maybe in the next game, sonic can fight vampires that are trying to win over amy, but then sonics all like "NO!" then transforms and has a werehog & vampire battle

I thought the idea wasnt bad because i thought i was done with the Wii-mote. But after realizing this is done with the shoulder triggers of the 360...It doesn't work.

I think it was designed for the whole tilting concept of the Wii and Iphone and Ps3. I dont see this work for the 360.

Sonic died with sega making consoles, there hasn't been a good one since the dreamcast, heroes was allright but mediocre, the new ones are trash. Adventure 2 Battle and DX Directors Cut were remakes, sonic is dead people, it's going to take a lot to revive him.

I think its rather subjective to each gamer. Same could be said for Call of Duty, or Uncharted. I could say, just as easily, that those games are just all sales, and no quality, because it is my opinion. Does that mean my opinion is law? Well, I hope not. You may not see value in many of his 3D outings, but the fact remains that many have, and that alone is what keeps a franchise alive. Quality can only get you so far with a small install base of fans.
