Review Round-up: Hour of Victory

Hour of Victory sounds like an absolute gaming cracker, does it not? Something a little more thought provoking and engrossing than the usual sway of World War II run-and-gun action that saturates the first-person shooter genre? The trailers look groovy, the developer interviews sound convincing, Midway is a well grounded and respectable studio, what could possibly go wrong?

Hour of Victory has been solidly lambasted by the gaming critics as both one of the worst WWII first-person shooters ever created, and also possibly one of the worst titles to thud unceremoniously onto the Xbox 360.
