Xbox live Moderator Victim Says He Did Not Fake The Video

Gary A Swaby of TheKoalition.com writes: Remember that video we posted of an Xbox Live gamer claiming to be abused by an Xbox Live moderator? Well Microsoft came out and said that the gamer (iTzLuPo), was actually in violation of Xbox Live terms. An article on Joystiq showed Microsoft's response to iTzLuPo's video, claiming that the moderator was just following protocol. They also revealed that iTzLuPo has a history of utilizing mods and glitches to gain advantage in Modern Warfare 2. The biggest criticism iTzLuPo received was that his video appeared to be chopped up to the point where it seems he edited the footage to make it seem worse than it really was.

Well now iTzLuPo has uploaded a new video in attempt to clear his name. He explains in the video that the disturbance in his footage was caused by a lag from his capture card. He also shows his fully functional Xbox 360, along side an old modded Xbox 360 that was previously banned. Check out the video and let us know what you think.

Simple solution: Don't start trouble there won't be any trouble. I've never known/heard of anyone innocent getting banned from Live.

I also find it very funny how depressed this kid sounds lol. If he would have just left that mod alone (harassment) he could be playing right now

SH3MRON5187d ago

There was another video uploaded yesterday where it showed the kid provoking The Pro.

Gaara_7245187d ago

nice find WTF was up with that 2 year old kid "i f*cked youre gran so hard she went out the window" ha like it could get hard twirp

Gen0ne5187d ago

I thought the grandmother comment was hilarious. If you can imagine it in Naked Gun kinda way.

On topic: Probably not the best idea to talk smack to man behind the curtain. Whether he deserves to be banned or not, he's gotta understand that the math just isn't in his favor. It all adds up to him losing, no matter what. Keep your mouth shut, play by the rules and turn off your damn mod. Sorry, but not only did he ask for it, but he went outta his way for it. Hopefully, a lesson learned.

Projekt7tuning5187d ago

Well look, The little kid posted the other small part of the video (See post 1.2), and that pretty much ratted him out. Also most people who are just innocent bystanders don't go through the trouble of setting up equipment to record the deal to begin with. In all likelihood he was recording his mod/hack/glitch to show off and was banned wile doing it. End of story. Also its like any other business, Microsoft has the right to refuse service to unruly people.

DongHungLong5187d ago

@DarkTower805

Its actually happened. They banned several legit boxes awhile back. They fixed it tho.

silvacrest5187d ago

lol, its nice to see the truth show up and a lie exposed

Time_Is_On_My_Side5187d ago

I would consider harassment when their is a consistent partner with behaviour. In the video the guy was also complaining about that specific people were playing with him online; that isn't legit?

Nevers5186d ago

... is my hero. Both loserz who got the banhammer totally deserved it.

Lil sh!t swearing about scrooing grandmammies was totally deserving of the boot. I hope The Pro did eventually call his mommy.

Modder/cheater/loser also get the boot...

VERY SIMPLE

Now there's a campaign to actually get The Pro "in trouble" for doing exactly what me and my buddies only dream of doing to a lot of people we encounter.

These retardz are editing their footage when what they've omitted has already been leaked and totally incriminates them. Funny stuff.

Dark_Overlord5187d ago

His voice sounds nothing like what it did on the other video (he sounded about 12)

ClownBelt5187d ago

I think it's some other dude. lol

Dark_Overlord5187d ago

would of been nice if they mentioned that :D

The Lazy One5187d ago

you couldn't hear itzlupo in the other movie because he was capturing his own 360. The other voice you heard was the first kid that got banned.

You can see itzlupo is talking the whole time even though you can't hear his voice. In the end, he got suspended for something like a week or two. Probably for threatening a moderator. I wouldn't be surprised if he mentioned that he used to mod, which I think they can still ban you for.

IdleLeeSiuLung5187d ago

Lol...

We got a guy that self admitted "used" to be a modder. Sends a one sided video proof then sends another video proof that oddly enough proof nothing since I can't see jack and have to take his word that the things he is saying is there. Not to mention, date stamps and such can be changed easily!

So let me see, a reformed modder and a moderator. Who do I believe?

BeaArthur5187d ago

Both of these people are clowns. This guy clearly deserved to be ban. Although he claims the console on the left isn't modded he has how many different Xbox Live accounts? I'm not going to judge anyone but unless you have siblings or someone else in your house who plays, why do you need more than 1 account?

As the for the moderator, he easily could have ignored this dude and muted him (at least from what I could ascertain from the original video). I don't know if this guy was doing something else that got him ban but based on what was in the video the moderator could have handled it better.

All in all I don't really have any sympathy for the modder, he freely admits he has a modded console and he has multiple accounts. He should be ban. Although Microsoft should ban the IP address, not the console.

Smkt5187d ago

why should his ip be banned for modding? he modded his console which got banned.. why shouldn't he be allowed to play online with an unmodded one?

and I have multiple accounts too, for different regions. maybe he just created a new account after the previous one got suspended..

sukru5187d ago

It's normal to have many accounts. I have something called "friends", and keep a separate profile for them.

On the topic: I cannot believe he's still pushing the matter. Especially after the second video popped up.

BeaArthur5187d ago (Edited 5187d ago )

Smkt...and that right there is the point. " maybe he just created a new account after the previous one got suspended", that is exactly the problem. He was caught breaking the rules (and possibly cheating) so all he had to do was create a new account and he could go right back to it. Allowing people to just create new accounts doesn't solve any of the modding issues. Especially considering how many free trials of Xbox Live are out there. They get suspended for a month, they just create a new account. As far as the console ban goes, what is to stop him from selling the ban console to someone that has no idea that it has been ban? He sells it, and buys a new one and goes right back to it. Now clearly he kept his old modded one, but the point I am making is that to sop modding the IP address needs to ban.

As far as you two having multiple accounts for multiple regions...I get that, you want to be able to get content from other regions. But this guy is an admitted modder and has multiple accounts; you don't see an issue with that?

Projekt7tuning5187d ago

@ 3
I understand what your saying, but that will not work in all cases. My connection for example has a dynamic IP and changes all the time. Because of that I don't now if that would work. Don't most people with cable connections have a dynamic IP? I know with my provider you have to pay a lot extra to get a static IP for running full time game servers or hosting.

BeaArthur5187d ago

Projekt7tuning...I honestly don't know. I think for most people the IP address stays the same, but again I am not sure. What I do know (especially after watching this video) is that the process they have now is not enough of a deterrent. Maybe they could ban the billing address or the credit card. I don't care how they do it as long as they get better at removing people like this from the service.

Kainewynd25187d ago

@ 3.5

"Always on" connections like cable and DSL do have dynamic IP addresses assigned and while they tend to stay the same, it is never a guarantee. After a certain amount of time, any ISP will re-use an available IP address.

For example, if you lose power to your house for a couple days or there is some billing messup, your modem goes off and someone else gets a modem activated in the same IP block after that predetermined amount of time, there is a chance that they'll get your old IP. It's just responsible networking to do this.

As 3.4 mentioned, getting a static IP is extra $$$ a month and doesn't make sense for most home users.

That said, they could always do a two pronged ban approach: Gamertag and Hardware ID. They could easily ban a gamertag globally and restrict new account creation or registration on the hardware ID during a preset amount of time (six months).

No annoying twelve year old is going to wait six months to register a new account...

BeaArthur5187d ago

Kainewynd2...honestly I don't care one way or another, I just wish they found a better way to keep these people off Live.

Projekt7tuning5187d ago

@ Kainewynd2
Thanks Bud, that's pretty much what I thought, I just was not 100%. Thanks.

teh cells lost brain5187d ago

then that 12 year old in the other vid that has surfaced on the internet. either way hes talking into a mic of some sort so his voice would not change only time a voice sounds different if your talking to a person in real life....i have no sympathy for this kid he needs to get a different hobby or by a playstation 3 where he cant get banned and he cant mod....atleast if he gets a ps3 we wont have to see these pathetic vids of him complaing about xbox live mods, tbh i dont even know if theres psn mods lol....its perfect for this kid....no mods to make depressing life and more depressing.....this kid sounds suicidal or he has down syndrome.....

Projekt7tuning5187d ago

@ 3.9
The kid your talking about was a different person. He was trying to get involved with the Mod and the first guy who was the one making the complaint. The kid was helping gang up on the Mod or "The Pro". He was doing the same stuff as the other guy though, as you can hear him talking about turning his mod chip on and off.

outlawlife5187d ago (Edited 5187d ago )

why doesn't this guy give up? he was caught modding and then he got caught trying to edit a video

hes really grasping at straws here and he isn't going to win especially since an unedited version cropped up

i've captured tons and never experienced the audio lag hes claiming, nor have many of my friends who make montages all of which use dazzle, the guy is an idiot

BeaArthur5187d ago

Yeah, he can just go away. He got busted and as someone who despises modders I don't feel any sympathy for him.

meatnormous5187d ago

Love the fact that he says I was banned for no reason, when he has a modded console next to a new one. His credibility was hurt even more by this video. My 360 has never been banned cause I don't break the rules.

peeps5187d ago

lmfao why does the video cut to black when he switches it on and then shows it on screen...

why not have 1 fluid video lmao

seriously, that does the guy no favours

greatjimbo785187d ago

My thoughts exactly. During that time he could have done anything. This video has only made him look worse.

Games That Were Bad on Release, But Are Now Great

BLG writes, "Some of the most popular games have had a rough start, with some of them being downright unplayable.

Despite that, developers have managed to turn it around for them and make their game worth playing. Here are some games that had a rough start but were pretty great."

Good list..hoped to see Street Fighter 5 there..and it is.

Vits3d ago (Edited 3d ago )

Sea of Thieves... I'm not disagreeing that the game has improved in terms of content. But I feel that the most significant change between now and its release is actually the public perception. Nowadays, most people are aware that the game is a multiplayer PvP-focused experience first and foremost, and not "Black Flag made by Rare". Consequently, people dismissing the whole experience because the single-player aspect is lacking or the story is plain are much less common.

darthv723d ago

Several years ago, i submitted an idea to Rare that would change up the mechanics of battling opponents in the game. whereby if you died in battle, you turned into a skeleton warrior and had to fight your way back to the land of the living. It was an interesting twist on respawning and would allow the player to experience both sides of a battle.

I keep hoping to see something like that get added to the game.

Kaii3d ago

They consider FO 76 & ME Andromeda to be great now 🤭

Every game in the last 2 decades...

INMATEofARKHAM3d ago

It's sad that this quick retort is more often than not true... The industry's acceptance of release and patch has gone too far.

gunnerforlife3d ago

Days gone! By the end of the game I couldn't drop it down! I went around so many hours killing zombies! It was addictive by the end.

S2Killinit3d ago

That game was just plain good game. It didnt improve, it was just good.

gunnerforlife2d ago

I don't know, I got it abit late, and struggled for a few days, and then all of a sudden it just got good!!
