Medal Of Honor Will Have Peek And Lean

Medal of Honor exec producer Greg Goodrich has told IncGamers that the forthcoming Medal of Honor game will include "things that the Medal of Honor player expects," including peek and lean functions.

Killzone 2 has an incredible lean and peek system. You don't have to use it but you can make real good use of it

There have been plenty of games with peek and lean FAR before Killzone 2. Hell there have been games with peek and lean FAR before Killzone 1 was even on paper.

Killzone 2 was NOT the first. Remember Call of Duty 1, 2, and 4? Rainbow Six? Ghost Recon? Lean has been in games for a long time.

Killzone 2 was not the first FPS to use leaning... first game I played that used it was Soldier of Fortune 2 (that I can remember), and I'm pretty sure the first game of that series used it as well.

I'd thought that Killzone 2 was the first FPS to utilise that cover/lean dynamic. Earlier MOH's have used lean, but these are massively different to the cover peek system.

SOCOM was totally over-rated on the PS3, but it was brilliant on the PS2. I dont' know what happened to it, maybe it's just not as good as other shooters now.

Confrontation was, and still is, an absolute mess. The fact that Zipper wasn't involved in the development probably has a lot to do with that.

It's OBVIOUS(wish I could make the font much bigger) you guys have not played Confrontation recently... The game is nothing like what it was when it first came out. Ever since the tournament patch came out, it feels like a complete game. The lag has been minimal since patch 1.30.

Now go somewhere else and troll on a different game.

lean has been around from the dawn of FPS games, it just got lost with the start of console FPS. Rainbow Six, GR, STALKER and Crysis still utilize it, good to see MoH will have it back, its crucial.

Letros...personally I am a fan of the Rainbow Six lean/cover system. I think it is the best cover system for am FPS. Killzone's worked well but the button combination was awkward.

im still on the fence about this game .i never liked ww2 games so i stayed away from this series (and the cod games set in this time frame too for that matter). but a lick of modern settings has made me curious.After MW2 and BFBC2 whats this going to offer over those games? EA sure do wanna piece of that COD pie. its gonna be all out war between EA and activision this christmas...i wonder what time period treyarcs cod will be set in and if this new MOH will have had any influence on treyarc`s game. i cant see them doing a WW2 game when EA will be trying to sway MW2 players with somethting very familiar to what they have. ill just wait till i can play a demo before i part with my cash. i just have a gut feeling this game is gonna dissapoint..but we can only wait and see i guess.

Lean and peek has pretty much ben on every PC FPS that ive played since the 90's (that i can remember)..

but the COVER SYSTEM for a FPS wasnt invented untill guerilla created its masterpiece KILLZONE 2. :)

they use the EYE TOY.it tracks your movements from side to side.im sure you can find some info on it on a site some where.if you wanna get a feel for how it works try MESMEIZE TRANCE from the PS store,its pretty siiiick!!

There have been many games with a LEAN function in them on the PC for years, but Killzone 2 was the FIRST FPS GAME ON ANY PLATFORM to have the sticky-wall, Gears-style cover system, and remain in first-person view.
