The Xbox 360 Games of Summer 2007

Summer is said to be the worst time for gamers. The "summer drought," however, is a myth. Eyeballing the release calendar for summer (June 21-September 21) shows that there are several dozen games bound for stores in the next few months. And better still, many of these are quality titles. Don't expect to save your pennies this year -- summer is going to be big on Xbox 360. Just take a peek at our list of some of the biggest games on the horizon.

This lineup makes the PS3 and Wii look like they're not even trying. And this doesn't even mention what's coming out after summer is over.

The Wii line up dose look like crap though. Not counting multi platform games. Out of the Xbox games I want Bioshock and Mass effect and maby Two-worlds. and of coarse halo 3 when it comes out. the PS3 looks about equal with Lair, Heavenly sword, and warhawk. and then FF13 when it comes out. in the end the summer line up looks great for PS3 and Xbox 360 Especially with the multiplatform games. Wii is still a crappy gimmick until I see some real games come out (supper Mario galaxy, and SSBB)

It's not a myth. September does not count as summer in my book. All the good games are coming out in the fall, AFTER I go back to school. :oP Don't know how these people expect me to get any work done and get a degree.

I'm def. looking forward to the RPGs. The graphics on Eternal Sonata look AMAZING... seriously looks like you're watching a high-quality, painted cartoon.

To #3 above, yes Americans just like Euro's love shooters which is why so many dev's put out shooter because they know they will sell everywhere except Japan. Either way it seems to me both systems are heavy in that dept. Here are the highligted release for both consoles summer release list from IGN:

So lets see thats 5 RPG's with a healthy mix between western and japanese, then there's, 1 racer, and 1 action games all exclusive to 360 which already just recently released hits like C & C and Forza 2, meanwhile the console which is starving for more than the 2 barely good exclusive games it has now is getting 3 action games and HS is probably the best one since Lair is questionable as far as the gameplay goes and warhawk is little more than an online downloadble arcade type game which is why its cheap. and I won't even get into how likely it is that those multi's will look better on 360. now just add XBL to the mix+ the rest of 2007 line-up+ micro's endless finances to create new future big budget games+ their ability to secure more 3rd party exclusives and theres just know denying it sony kids 360 delivers the best gaming experience now and will continue to do so.

Funny how things work out when 1 of sony kids best games is a old xbox game. I guess its a sign of whats to come.

Wow, that lineup is really impressive. I wonder how many fanboys will be able to enjoy it properly. Mmmm... even better, how many will play these games on the unit they currently own? It takes a lot of faith and worshiping to be a 360 fanboy, you get so emotionally involved with your baby... so cute... and boom! it lets you down and you gotta get it refurbished asap while you could be playing all these games...
It's going to be a hot summer, and remember to stay nice and polite when you fill the forms to get your baby replaced for the 4th time: after all, you know you were kinda cheap when you decide it was hip to 'jump in', didn't ya? :)
PS: I've always wondered, do you guys also send back the power brick when you get it fixed?

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Action old xbx game but hey u guys need it (((its not a copy door knob - they have add some new things that they didnt add on the xbox and it looks 100times better))))

R6: Vegas Shooter multi (old not as good as 360 version) - it was a port what do u expect?? lol anything that is created to the PS3 then ported then clearly the 360 one will appear better - and not by much either

Lair is questionable as far as the gameplay goes (((all those xbox titles combined cant do what lair does lol lair is sooo huge that its impossible on the 360 so regardless if the game is good or bad - they have proven to us some of the PS3 power - and yes its scary isnt it lol

PSN - sony has stated that there are 41 games in dev rite now to be released from now until the end of the year - and these are fresh new games built from the ground up - so ya what does XBL have??

360 delivers the best gaming experience now --- i would hope so since they are a full year ahead of sony but that will end starting sept...and its funny how sony 1 year games look better then any 360 2 year game lol and i hope u like to change discs because look at blue dragon - that should be a HUGE! sign of things to come for u retards

and besides mass effect - everything on that list that isnt coming to the PS3 is pretty much garbage....so pls dont lie to yourself - ull just end up hurting your feelings even more that u wasted ur money on a crappy system

I definitely will get Mass Effect, Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, PGR 4. But what happened to Too Human on that list. According to Gamestop Too Human: Part 1 is scheduled For August.
