Mass Effect 2 enhancements prescribed by Dr. Pepper

You can now find some Mass Effect 2 targeting, armor, and weapon enhancements under caps of Dr. Pepper. Check for specially labeled Dr. Pepper products. Under each cap is a code you can redeem via www.drpepper.com/promotions/ea. Once you are registered on the drpepper.com website, you can enter the redeem code you found under the cap. Every Dr. Pepper product has a winning code for one free piece of downloadable content. The codes are good on several games, including Mass Effect 2. The good thing is that you can select which game to use it on, and even which downloadable item to redeem with your code. Once you pick the game and item, you will sign-in to your EA account, which is tied to your Xbox 360 and PC account for downloading to your game.

There are three Mass Effect 2 downloadable items currently being offered. See details on the three enhancements here, which each have their own unique appearance and ability enhancements.

LOL that's awesome video game DLC on Dr. Pepper cans

tdrules5202d ago

that stuff is already available in game...

STICKzophrenic5202d ago

I can't find anything that says this.

The OCD collector in me wants these items really badly, but I hate Dr. Pepper.

:-(

Foxgod5202d ago

I seriously hope Mass effect will become as big as Halo.
Just bring on the countless Mass effect games and even movies.

Love it, will never have enough of Mass effect.
After only two iterations, it already became better then Star Wars to me.

Thats right, Bioware outdid George Lucas.

MajesticBeast5202d ago

Mass effect odst? ye milking is the best thing to do to a franchise just look at mario...

Foxgod5202d ago

Mario, whats your point?
Are you telling me that Mario games are bad?
That Mario Galaxy, and Super mario Wii should have never existed?

Or that Reach should never see the daylight, because...... Milking is supposed to be bad?

Get real, Milking is good, if the product deserves it, Mass effect.... Deserves it!

MajesticBeast5202d ago (Edited 5202d ago )

I mean every mario spin off made it a joke and every product that has been milked has crashed and burned from movies to games. George lucas likes to milk and activision cant enough of it. A movie is just a bad idea cause it wouldnt be half as good as the games. Bioware should just finish the trilogy and then maybe something in a different timeline but no movies.

What is Halo?

For me, Mass Effect is already is much bigger than Halo.

Rush5202d ago (Edited 5202d ago )

Now now children why did this have to degenerate into a fanboy flame war...

Foxgod5202d ago (Edited 5202d ago )

If Lucas studio would handle the movie, it would be downright awesome.
And Bioware already stated they would have a movie made, if they right people would do it.

Besides, Microsoft/Bioware are not Nintendo.
Look at Halo, nothing bad has come from it yet, not even ODST, ODST was a great success, and a nice little gem to play.
I am sure that almost everything Halo related that will be made in the future, will be a success.
Same will go for Mass effect.

Speaking of Mass effect spinoffs.
How awesome would it be if Bioware would create a metal gear like spinoff, Mass effect Stealth game with Thane Krios in the lead.
A stealth action game, that would be about Thane during his younger years, how he lost his wife, and brought downfall to the wicked.

It would be one of the very few games where the lead role is not a human, but an alien instead, that would be Awesome!
Nintendo is just a company who likes to create cheap spinoffs, but MS/Bioware are not like that, you will never see a Halo Kart, or Mass effect tennis.

duplissi5202d ago

umm, i sure the hell hope not. when games get to halos level quality starts to slide.... just compare odst + halo 3 to halo 1 or 2. sad really.

DustMan23d ago

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave23d ago (Edited 23d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
