Article on what Microsoft could have up their sleeves and weighs in on the possibility of it all.
"You all know by now that Capcom & Microsoft have partnered to reveal something on the 26th. All signs it pointing to a new game. These are my predictions on what it could be in no particular order. (Please Note The Following Are Predictions And Are No Way To Be Considered Confirmed).."
Gamers have entered another golden age of fighting games much like the early 90s. With the recent releases of Mortal Kombat, SF IV, and Marvel vs Capcom 3 fighting games are on the upward swing. Developers and publishers need to take notice, this is the perfect time to release another Power Stone game, Darkstalkers 4, or the perfection cross over game featuring characters from Dead or Alive.
For dead or alive to be featured in any kind of crossover (an idea i dont like at all anyway , as i dont see the franchise being remotely as good as the most likely crossover candidates) , it would need to come back first with an interesting new doa main game .
I'd like to see a remake of that PSone weapon based fighting game in which you could kill someone with a single hit.... I forget the name of it, it had potential but never quite lived up to it!
I'd like to see Tekken losing the over the top combo's and ariel juggle combo's!
Soul Calibur is a great game, but needs some oomph to it!
Gamer's Guide to Life.com, Sunday 24th April 2011: In the wake of Mortal Kombat's much-anticipated release, GGTL Contributor Andrew Testerman lists five classic fighting franchises that developers need to return to our living rooms posthaste.
GGTL: "Ever since Capcom put the genre back on the map with 2009’s Street Fighter IV, the fighting game has enjoyed a small renaissance in popularity. Here at Gamer’s Guide to Life.com, we enjoy a good fighting game as much as the next guy (but are probably much worse at them), and are glad to see such a storied genre return to glory.
With the recent release of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and much-anticipated reboot of Mortal Kombat, it’s easy to imagine other franchises making a triumphant return to the EVO scene. Here are five that we want to be owned at, by a Japanese fighting savant."
The most notable reveal would perhaps by the requirements of the Xbox 360 console itself. While Microsoft has insisted since the original unveiling of Kinect at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in 2009, then known as Project NATAL, that the device would be compatible with all Xbox 360 consoles, the revelation of a dedicated port included on the newly redesigned Xbox 360 model has sparked rumours of incompatibility, which were quickly debunked.
odd, i was led to believe it lacked an internal processor and so also needed a core to itself, if not 1-2 processing threads.
So pretty much the same spec as the PS Eye, although I thought the eye went up to 120 Hertz...
"Tracks up to 6 people, including 2 active players"
I think now its official that just 2 ppl can play at the same time.
It could always end up being the failclusive rivaling the 30 day maps from CODMW2 lol
Natal game. (yawn)
Lost Planet 2 DLC! (yawn)
Lost planet 2 Natal support? YAWN!
It could always end up with you guys crying a little more and getting nothing ;)
If Devil May Cry 5 went exclusive...
...I'd buy a 360.
Not lying. Hold me to it.
