Tali is hawt

What's with all the disagrees? This game looks fantastic.

AKNAA5209d ago

This game looks pretty good and all but for some reason it just looks like a TPS action/ adventure game with choices... Maybe I'm just to use to playing Final Fantasy type games??...

DatNJDom815209d ago

sounds like it's a good game. Good stuff for gamers and 360 owners. Sound like a big jump from the first one. If I wasn't saving for other games I would by this now. Aww well I'll check out the next chapter in sheppards story soon.

CWMR5209d ago

-Nice review. I'm very excited for this game.-

That was an awesome video review. I watched the whole thing and I don't think it gave away too much about the game. I am really impressed with how good it looks and all the improvements they have made like better menus, more customization options, better side missions and more refined combat.

MagicAccent5208d ago

...Except on PS3 :(

I wish I never watched the review, because now I don't want to play anything but ME2..
C'mon BioWare, give the PS3 owners some love.

Great score for what will probably be the best RPG this year. As they said in the review, the voice acting and story is just miles ahead of the competition.

Nihilism5209d ago

it's bioware dude, that goes without saying

CWMR5209d ago

-Totally. I've played many of their games--from Baldur's Gate to Jade Empire and from KOTOR to Mass Effect--and they have all been exceptional. Mass Effect 2 looks like their best yet.-

Wow, I can't wait for this game any longer. 4 more days, 4 more days, 4 more days...

Torkith5209d ago (Edited 5209d ago )

F**************ck! My 360 just red-ringed, god damnit. How long does it take to send it out to Microsoft and get it back? Obviously more than 4 days. Anyone happen to know? ... I wanted to buy Mass Effect 2 on Tuesday... guess that's not gunna happen now... ***k

hobokiller5209d ago

Lol. I feel your pain. Mine came back in about 3 weeks. There is no charge or anything and you get a free month of XBL.

doctorspakles5209d ago (Edited 5209d ago )

About three weeks to a month I think. Funny story there. Mine red ringed long ago and it took a month. THE NEXT MORNING the one they sent red ringed again. I was furious. So I went to Costco and exchanged it that very day. Plus I got the HDMI and newer chipset. I don't know if Costco still takes them back though. Oh well good luck with your ordeal.

Torkith5209d ago

Thanks for the quick replies, damn that's really a let down. Was really excited to play Mass Effect 2.

ape0075209d ago

oh that's bad, man ,try to install games if you have big hard drive, it reduces heat and really shorten load time, that is one underrated feature in the xbox 360

red is one thing but the worst thing ever is the infamous E-74

god I hate e74

Torkith5209d ago

Disagrees because my 360 didn't red ring? I wish :(

On-Topic, good review, still looking forward to this game! Just going to have to wait a little longer.

-MD-5209d ago

It took me 18 days I believe total turnaround time.

The refurb they sent me has been going strong for 2 years.

lowcarb5208d ago

Well I've been in your shoes before and feel bad for you. If you simply can't wait you could always do the towel trick and get an extra months life.

Redlogic5208d ago

just got to bestbuy and buy an arcade version on the credit card. Send out your RROD console to MS and use the arcade xbox you bought until it comes back from the shop. All you gotta do is unpackage the console, everything else can stay sealed. Be careful when you open the box so that you can seal it back up without it looking like it was opened. When your old console comes back from MS, return the console you got from bestbuy. Wa La!

The 7 Best Western RPGs: Immersive Adventures

RPGs are often huge, sprawling endeavours. With limited playtime, we have to choose wisely, so here's the best western RPGs available today.

SimpleSlave22d ago

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

DustMan22d ago

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave22d ago (Edited 22d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
