Modern Warfare 2 Still NOT Fixed

Early this morning, after being certified by Microsoft, update 1.06 for Modern Warfare 2 was applied, and tossed upon all who wished to play the game online. It was made to fix an entire horde of glitches, bugs and environment exploits found throughout the online multiplayer modes. Did Infinity Ward succeed with this latest patch, or are more waiting for us just beyond the horizon.

Haven't noticed yet...Seems like people got bored with the glitch, so I only experienced a few rooms where a lot of people were using it. Thank God people are laying off it, it was annoying.

Sales records aren't enough apparently, now they want to go for the most patches ever released for a game :) They are averaging more than 1 a week so far.

It's inexcusable to have so many problems in a AAA title from one of the biggest game developers on the planet. But at least they are responsive, maybe a little too responsive. Rather than rush out patch after patch maybe they could take a little more time and do it right the first time.

If IW would have tested MW2 none of these glitches would have never been in tha game to start with.Look how fast these glitches are been found.If IW would have really tested this game it would have been released around christmas time.IW finished tha game and sent it out to tha public.It was their goal tha whole time you do all tha work for them while they get tha money.Dont think everything IW have done have been good.MW1 was tha best shooter I have played and Im a huge Socom fan.It had everything I wanted in a shooter but it was FPS.I was really hoping Socom:Confrontation would have been like MW1.

But with MW2 its not that great only a upgrade to MW1.All they did was add a new story,Spec Ops,and killstreaks.That would have been a great deal for $30 as a MW1 dlc.Nothing wrong with a game getting a huge DLC package if it still famous.People was still playing MW1 in tha millions a couple days if not hours before MW2 was released.IW you might get my money when you release MW3 until then you gets nothing.

Infinity Ward could've EASILY conducted a limited beta test group. There were people SLOBBERING to play this game early. Gamers would've been happy to play this game for free. These glitches were popular in a week of the game's release. They were 1st nature to find. This is the penalty of not testing the game... so faulty code was approved without extensive testing. I don't own MW2, I rented it, glad I did.

But don't worry, these things will be patched eventually. But young is correct, the beta testers are currently the early owners of this game, since a real beta was not produced for this game... which is moronic IMO.

This is why games are so buggy today because gamers can't wait to play it. So what MW2 stays broken because it continues to sell and even it's broken, gamers who already bought the game continue to play it.

The only way to force game publishers to make less buggy and fix the games fast is not buy the game.

As long the attitude of gamers is can't wait to play it, this is what happens.

I still haven't bought the game because I'm waiting for IW to properly fix the game than pay for their product to become their beta tester.

Game of the year it'll be. And i have never seen anything in all the games i've been in, I'm level 40 and aint seen the javelin or any other cheats yet. Maybe i'm very lucky or there's lots of haters exaggerating as per usual. Best MP game around.

all this update was to do was to fix the javelin and care packages, the massive update is yet incoming

this article is a failure and the writer is very misinformed

this patch did everything is was planned to do which was fix those 2 glitches along with geo glitches on a couple maps

the hacking of the game types hasnt become a glaring problem until the last few days

people expect things to be fixed as soon as someone finds something to be exploited, this is impossible

It's incredibly worrying that there have been so many major bugs and glitches.

Just another reason that makes me feel justified in my decision to abandon this franchise.
