Hands-on with the Vampire Rain demo

Frank Caron of ArsTechnica writes:
"[June 7th] was quite the day for demos on the Marketplace. In addition to a hearty sampling of the controversial Shadowrun, two other downloads are now available: Tenchu X and Vampire Rain. The recent entries in the Tenchu series were not to my tastes, so I decided to give Vampire Rain a go-after all, it's not every day that Canada gets content that the States doesn't, and I relished the opportunity. Boy, was I ever disappointed.

Developed by Artoon, Vampire Rain boasts a unique premise that mixes stealth-based gameplay and vampire hunting together. As you can imagine, the game plays out like a hybrid of Splinter Cell and Resident Evil: you lurk around corners, stay in the shadows, and pop out only to put away the deranged monsters directly in your path. The demo itself, which clocks in at just under 900 MB, offers two story missions, two time trial missions and some online multiplayer."
