gorillajumpers.com examines why with a 54% failure rate do they and many other gamers continue to pour money into buying the failure ridden console?
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.
Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.
It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny
Armored Core VI?
Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.
Is something big coming soon to branch the story?
No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).
Video games are no longer just a simple past time. Today's games are evolving into true works of art. Offering intriguing narratives, cinematic setpieces, and profound messages, games can entertain us for hundreds of hours.
I never got around to mass effect - I’m skeptical that it would hold up if I were to try it now
Xbox fanboys aren't the brightest.
Very extreme headlines, but guess you can't argue with facts.
I love when people completely miss the point.
The point of the article is what Microsoft is doing right that allows gamers to forgive the failure problems. The 54% failure rate is just the latest number tossed at what is a continuing problem for 360 owners.
He is a follower plain and simple. Whatever his friends do he will do also. He said so in the article. So even if MS releases another console that has even worse problems he will join the pity party as usual and pretend to be righteous.
but even i don't think it's 54%.
now,if the poll was asked to all xbox owners and not just game informer readers, then you might get more close to accuracy.but it's microsoft's fault for RROD existing.they rushed, spent less money, and didn't care about the results.now it's biting them in the @ss.
but it's failure should never be compared to the NES as it was the cartridges getting dirty and not the system.my launch NES still works today.
and it should never be compared to DRE of ps1/ps2.if sony had failures that high, they would have never sold over 100 million of both systems.both of mine still work.
as for XBL,ps3 fans can connect and make friends every day as well in games or in HOME.there is no difference.you can meet and you can add someone as a friend on your friend's list on ps3.it's more integrated across XBL,but i don't see a difference.and games online now on ps3 have headset function.no difference.cross game chat?who cares.
but i believe 54% is not accurate.even as a ps3 fan.
