We all know what a summer movie looks like, because we're bombarded with ads for them from May to August. They're big, they're noisy and now, more often than not, they're a sequel, remake or based on a known quantity, like G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.
There's now mounting evidence of another form of seasonal entertainment - the summer game. Game Life touched upon the concept when reviewing Battlefield 1943 for The Onion A.V. Club, but after playing Shadow Complex this weekend, the theory has really started to gel.
