Electronic Theatre In-depth Review: R-Type Dimensions

The 3D modernisations are quite simply beautiful. R-Type itself appears to have been made yet more challenging through the 3D representation, even though enemy placement, weapon strength and every other possible variable appears, at least on the surface, to remain completely untouched. Though R-Type retains the Boss characters famously associated with the series, R-Type II's recreation here is infinitely more gratifying.
