Avatar Football Comes to Xbox LIVE Indie Games in 'Kickers'

'Kickers' an entrant in this year's indie game competition 'Dream Build Play' is coming to Xbox LIVE Indie Games. It is a football (soccer) game that allows you to play as your avatar and is influenced by the Mario Strikers series. IndieGameBlog.net has the first trailer and screenshots.

There is nothing stoping *you* from making one. And Microsoft is making it very easy by giving away free development tools, tutorials, and competition that results in professional publishing. :)

But if you don't feel up to the standards, please at least do not criticize other people's efforts for not doing exactly what you want.

I'll say it no matter if its on xbox or ps3.

when people do a good job on a game I'm happy and I'll say it . if a game looks like crap I'll be angry and say it also.

There's plenty stuff they could do with avatars but instead they're focusing on making nintendo like games that will have people bashing the xbox for no reason.

- indie games are just that, independant. Not sponsored by anyone so they can do what they want. If you disagree with their content then you really really don't have to pay any attention to them at all
- and no they shouldn't have achievements as then you'd just get a plethora of rubbish that only pushes nonsense gamerscore.

XNA Game Studio wins again. I always find it funny how just anyone can quickly judge a game and yet have no skill or talent in the field of game design. Designing games is hard people. It is not the developers fault if they fail to grasp your idea of what is "good" and what is "bad". Take this info, insert in brain.
