The main series would be a straightforward action game that has players taking one of the many historical figures of ancient China and mowing down entire armies with just a sword or spear or other melee weapon. The spin-offs would build upon the ideas and features introduced in the main series but be more thought-provoking by adding some strategy to the gameplay."
