As a shape-shifting super mutant, players will be able to evolve their powers over time. After collecting Evolution Points, by completing missions, challenges and consuming enemies, Alex can learn and improve a massive number of unique abilities. Alex's body can transform into deadly weapon by modifying his limbs into wolverine like claws, massive blades, spiked whips and huge fists of stone. Each of the major offensive powers can be upgraded to add combo moves, diversify their usage and improve their effectiveness. Further upgrades can even unlock deadly, massive area of effect attacks called devastators that can easily eliminate a crowd of enemies in next to no time. The wide range of abilities, combo attacks and devastator moves makes the combat system one that is exciting and entertaining to utilise and master.
