IGN: Backbreaker Hands-On

It's no secret that Madden NFL is the current king of football videogames. EA has the NFL license, it has marquee names in the commentator booth and it has a massive advertising budget to throw at the game each and every year. But those facts aren't stopping NaturalMotion from putting together a promising footballer of their own known as Backbreaker. Powered by euphoria and morpheme physics technologies that have been seen in Grand Theft Auto IV as well as other titles, Backbreaker hopes to deliver a football experience totally free of canned animations. Instead, physical objects on the field react to each other naturally, just as they would in reality.
