Square Enix's Killer E3 Details - Three Unannounced Games

Gameplayer has some exciting news about what gamers can expect from Square Enix at this year's E3.

I've enjoyed a lot of the RPGs on the x360.
Most didn't get great scores, but I don't care..

And, besides, the average score for a game below an 80 still isn't a bad game.

I wonder what this person was thinking? Does he know know that games can be translated from PS3 to 360 in a less than a month and this was announced last year? Another reason given was because it has to be localized? Does he not know that the American PS3 is also in English, and also has to be localized Hello? Does he not know that the engine Square built for this game and others was for both xbox360, and PS3?

Theres a few decent ones, but honestly square hasnt put alot of effort into 360 jrpgs as of yet. They released a few just to see how well they would sell, and the results were about the same as playstation consoles but maybe 50,000 copies short in japan. (keep in mind the rpgs released arent big budget blockbusters)

I hope E3 reveals the new Final Fantasy Online project by the FFXI dev team. That'd be something to get me looking at buying a new decked out PC for again.

A sequel to Radiata Stories would also be welcome. Saga Frontier games. Secret/Legend of Mana games. Hopefully though they stick to 360 and PS3, because my Wii really doesn't have much software nor does it seem to be since Nintendo screwed the pooch for hardcore gamers this generation. I wish Nintendo great success in the future too and hope next console gen they take all that Wii cash and spend it on the most decked out console in terms of specs.

Square could also hit up a Valkyrie Profile for PS3. I'd be into it. :)

I personally don't have the patience to wait for their mediocre RPGs to hit the Triple,unless all their unannounced games are day 1 on Ps3,they won't be seeing my money for anything other than FF13.

Demons Souls and White Knight Chronicles will be more than enough to feed my RPG appetite.

Lol. Announcing games is one thing, actually releasing them is something completely different. FFXIII was announced three years ago and has yet to come out. S-E will still be full of fail if they don't release these games for another three years.

My guess to these games though? New IPs, Front Mission, or that action game shovelware title. Anything Final Fantasy related (new games and NOT a port) would be announced in Japan, where S-E seems to give the most sh!t.

Exactly, Square Enix has devolved badly. Throwing announcements out like popcorn and producing mediocre games on the way. They claim to hate piracy, yet fail to produce a single title for the only piracy free platform. Income drops 31%, the reaction? Throw more games into the development cycle, delaying the bunch of games they've already announced and those are still far away from being finished... Seriously, they should fire the idiot who's in charge. Business decisions like that can ruin a company.

rpgs on 360 have slow down on some of them,like half or wotever. or three that i read reveiws on and one was that blue dragon,which was exclusively made for rrodbox so youd think they would have fixed the slow down in game battles etc.

I enjoyed Lost Odyssey, Star Ocean 4, and Tales of Vesperia.....So when does score and sales matter as long as you like and enjoy the games. Let me tell you, the 3rd game is going to be the New Front Mission and it is X360 exclusive...the other one is the new Tri-ace multiplatform game and the new action game that was shown recently.

You got one thing wrong. Tri-Ace went to Sega for publishing. Well, only if it means that you were talking about the game once called "End of Eternity"(now called Resonance of Fate). Unless, if they are doing 2 games, and having Sega publish one game and Square publish the other. But I haven't heard one from tri-ace, since SO4, being published by Square.

I don't think so. Normura is working on FFXIII as a designer, and directing FFvXIII and the handheld Kingdom Hearts and Parasite Eve spimoffs. Like someone else said, Squeenix really need to finish off some games before starting new ones.

My guess is at least one or two of those secret titles are coming for the wii. Probably in the next year or so all ps360 will see is FFXIII while wii sees numerous new rpg ips.
