NCAA Basketball 09: March Madness Edition Released

Electronic Arts has done something interesting - if you're interested in the NCAA tournament, but aren't interested in a full game, they've released a tournament-only version on Xbox Live Marketplace for $15. It'll include this year's NCAA teams duking it out in the tourney - though one wonders if it'll have player names, which is always the trickiest part of any NCAA licensed game.

Gamers can download it from Marketplace or from your PC.

No word if a PlayStation Network edition is available - there's no listing of it on PlayStation Blog.
