Pure love, more Killer Instinct and Master Chief in Viva Piñata

MundoRare writes: "Since the release of Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise last September, Rare haven't missed any chances to promote one of the main innovations in the series: the possibility of adding customized content by scanning Piñata Vision Cards with the Live Vision Camera.

To celebrate the upcoming Valentine's Day this weekend, Rare have published a new Vision Card featuring the always loveable Macaracoon. According to James Thomas, this card "can only be scanned on the 14th, so you'll have to check with your significant others that you're allowed to play with your Xboxes instead of wining and dining them."

Only a few weeks ago, Thomas also offered four cards inspired upon the Halo 3 universe; and what's more, yesterday Rare also decided to extend the Killer Instinct references in the Piñata world with another cards trio featuring Cinder, Glacius and Chief Thunder. As in the previous ocassion, these will also unlock some piñata species with a clear resemblance to those classic Rare characters."
