Digital Life Review - Midnight Club: Los Angeles

Jason Hill writes: "Do you play video games for relaxation, or to test your skills? You will need to contemplate the answer before buying the latest Midnight Club racing game, which can frustrate and entertain in equal measure.

Particularly frustrating is driving a near-perfect race, suffering a seemingly unavoidable collision and watching rivals speed past. Often it seems the best strategy is to sit back in second place, then use a nitrous boost to dash to the finish line. Car and bike handling is tight, and the sense of speed thrilling."
