Lono writes:

"One of our faithful readers, Eulogy 33, came across a few juicy bits of info on the TooHuman.net forums. According to our intrepid community member, one of the TooHuman.net forum goers was lucky enough to get a guided tour of the Silicon Knights offices. During that tour, the forum member was privy to pretty sweet info for Too Human fans."

I thought it was going to Call of duty 10:Pre-Historical Warfare :(

Hagaf225628d ago

why is everyone forgetting about final fantasy 36 and gran turismo 12

morganfell5628d ago

^^ Because in 2018 those two games will only be at numbers 18 and 7 respectively.

As far as Too Human goes I personally loved the game. I spent near 70hours playing it and i personally cant wait for some download content or TH2. Thank god you sonyfans and the reviewers who rated it poorly have no say in the developement and continuation of this game. I will have it preordered the day it announces its release date.

VampHuntD5627d ago

Lies! There is no such thing!

riskibusiness5627d ago

I really like Too Human. I have played through it 2.5 times and replayed many levels multiple times. The control scheme is very advanced and likeable. The story is very good and original. The only downside to this game is it is short and the reduction to 2 player coop from 4 player. Now the engine is worked out, I doubt it would really take more then a couple of years to make another game. Here is to hoping we get another one of these great SK games soon.

Too Human DLC or Too Human 2 is a day one purchase for me. The first was addictive as hell, but you needed to at least play one guy to level 50 and collect his epic weapons, armor, charms and runes before you should even form an opinion on the game.

Worst Game Ever Part 2? No thanks.

Megatron085628d ago

why is Lil big Flop 2 coming out then or metal crap solid 5 ?

qface645628d ago

tsk tsk tsk little big planet did amazing in terms of reviews and selling 1 million is good and as for metal gear solid 4 the reviews and sales were great for that game compared to too human that got poor sales and poor reviews :3

cheapndirty5627d ago

Haze 2 and Lair 2 need to be made.

The Makr5627d ago

people apparently can't get enough of. Lets see... combine an extremely customizable, class, alignment, inventory, skill tree RPG elements with Diablo style loot whoring, mix in some Devil May Cry combat and you have a game that I easily put over 200 hours into. I have all 6 character slots at level 50 and almost all the elite and epic gear in the game.

I'm sorry, but to me you missed the entire point of the game if you just played the demo and hated it or rented it or played your boy's copy. The first 49 levels are like practice for the fun you can have a level 50. Bottom line is you get it or you don't. If you don't fine (your loss IMO), but understand for many this title was gaming crack. I guess the game was supposed to be blockbuster and winds up being a cult hit. Whatever.

One last thought, after playing that control scheme for that long, button mashing seems retarded and is hard to go back to.

Lair was actually a good game. It controls were not flawed. It felt like a dragon, not like a jet, like it is supposed to. They even released analog controls, plus it runs in Full 1080p.

LeonSKennedy4Life5628d ago

I agree on most of that. I don't have a huge problem with the controls either. They aren't Warhawk...but hey, what is?

It's still one of the best looking games out there and has a great storyline.

It's not quite as underrated as Heavenly Sword, but it definitely doesn't deserve the hate it receives. Haze does though.

What Too Human 2 Needs

"A 3D Diablo wonderland of cybernetically enhanced Norse gods." That's what Too Human is. While the first game has some speed bumps (spread out over nine years), a sequel could fix what was wrong and make the series as great as it should be.

Know many wont want to hear it, but some clone-age from the GOW people wouldn't hurt. Certainly to be more familiar and stick with one game engine.

Too Human got a bad rap, sequels still possible says Dyack

Too Human had been planned as an Xbox 360 exclusive trilogy when it launched in August 2008, but the game was panned critically and did not live up to sales expectations, leaving the future of the Silicon Knights franchise in doubt. Silicon Knights boss Denis Dyack, however, believes there is still hope and he told GamesIndustry International that an abundance of details will be revealed on May 14, the date set for his company's trial with Epic Games.

Lol, really now? Too Human was an interesting idea, but the game was sadly just terrible.

OhMyGandhi4434d ago (Edited 4434d ago )

I'll never forget the insanely melodramatic videos, the best of which starred a professor with a library of books talking about "Flow" in videogames.

And while I agree and believe in flow, it just cracks me up that they had someone so knowledgeable in what makes a game so good that it absorbs you and causes you to lose time and place...yet they themselves are unable to pull it off.

soundslike4434d ago

nothing that was wrong with that game couldn't be fixed with a more stable budget and time release.

the loot and combat system was spot on

it was just too little levels and lack of 4 player co op that killed it

NYC_Gamer4434d ago (Edited 4434d ago )

Too human budget was around 60 million.Silicon Knights just couldn't deliver on their promises made.many studios have produced quality with lesser funds.

NYC_Gamer4434d ago (Edited 4434d ago )

Dude still doesn't admit that Too Human failed because of the studios poor design/gameplay problems.

MasterD9194434d ago

I was interested in it until I played the demo. I recall the controls being an abomination. Key buttons weren't even being used...

vega2754434d ago

i thought the game was alright nothing great. just the damn death and re-spawn was terribly long and irritating.

360GamerFG4434d ago

I enjoyed it somewhat, very deserving of the less than perfect reviews but also very deserving of a properly made sequel.
Won't hold my breath though.
