TeamXbox Talk: What's Wrong with Avatars...

TeamXbox writes: "Unless you've been living under a rock, you must know by now that the Xbox 360 is offering avatars with the release of the New Xbox Experience. When promoting the Xbox 360 avatars, Microsoft says that they are "your game face throughout the New Xbox Experience and represents your personality."

That is simply not true. I can't get my avatar to look like me or have my face, and it doesn't represent my personality at all as all avatars perform the same cute moves and gestures.

Unfortunately, there's nothing "new" with these avatars, and the truth is that those detractors who claim these Xbox 360 avatars are just Miis in high-definition...mmm, well, they're absolutely right."
