BritXbox: Gears of War 2 Review

Gears of War 2 is without a doubt a great sequel to the original, the massive range of new game play options in co-op and multiplayer give the game tons of replayability. The simple player experience and core 'stop and pop' game play remains untouched and feels a little too familiar. The lacklustre attempts to introduce a deeper storyline to the game also disappoint and are askew to the original title which was shamelessly action heavy. Despite the feeling that some aspects of the game have lost their shine, Gears 2 is still a technical masterpiece with exciting gameplay that all Xbox 360 owners must purchase.
