TeamXbox: Rock Revolution Review

TeamXbox writes: "In many ways, Konami's Rock Revolution is an incredibly interesting study. Taken in context of its ancestry, the title should be the greatest music game in existence, given that Konami almost singlehandedly defined the music- and rhythm-based game genres with such titles as Beatmania, Dance Dance Revolution, Guitar Freaks and Karaoke Revolution.

With such lineage among its stablemates, Rock Revolution, the latest band-in-a-box style of game, at least should have been a lock for success. However, that's most definitely not the case. Though I have my theories as to why it turned out that way-and, no, I won't keep you in suspense by holding them back from you-the fact is that Rock Revolution comes off like a me-too product that does little to challenge its now well-experienced competitors."
