Sky News Review: Pure

Note: this review is for the Xbox 360 verision only.

From the review:

While the likes of Forza and Gran Turismo obsess over vehicle modification, and the latest Burnout is busy experimenting with its real-life city approach, new racer Pure heads off on yet another tangent, taking its lead from snowboarding games as it pursues a trick-based style of stunt driving.

Insane, vertigo-inducing jumps are the order of the day here, with each course offering plentiful opportunities to propel your quad bike into the air, at which point your character is free to cavort around like some kind of maniacal stuntman.

You see, in Pure tricks aren't so much a gameplay addition as the centrepiece to the entire game design.

Successful tricks are rewarded with boost, which can be used to propel your vehicle forwards, Burnout-style.
