IGN: Grid Expands its Garage

When Codemasters released its new driving game Grid this summer, car fans rejoiced. Some of the world's highest-performing automobiles were included in the game, lovingly rendered all. At launch, Grid included a top-notch survey of some of racing's hottest whips -- Nissans, BMWs, American muscle cars, F1 monsters and more. But at 45 cars, some gamers thought Grid's garage a tad bit thin. But that's about to change.

Although no date or pricing has been set yet, Codies has confirmed that eight new vehicles are on the way for Grid as part of an 8-Ball pack for download on Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network. All the rides will be available in Race Day mode and in Grid's online mode, which will also get two new multiplayer events as part of the 8-Ball pack. Xbox 360 gamers will also get four new achievements out of the deal, for a total of 100 additional points.
