GameSpy: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Preview

When it comes to "Star Wars" games, there's really only two things they absolutely need: lightsabers and the Force. Sure, the Rogue Squadron series' focus on dogfighting and aerial maneuvers was a lot of fun, but nothing beats slicing an enemy up or choking the life out of them. Like any good entry in the franchise, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed features plenty of both, but it isn't just a static hack-and-slash affair like the last movie adaptation.

Instead, you'll find a fully realized world brimming with objects (and enemies) that can be tossed aside or manipulated with a single wave of your character's hand. While GameSpy is only a few levels into the game, they can already tell that this should be a "Star Wars" experience like no other.
