Silent Hill: Homecoming slips to November

Dark Zero writes: "Konami may have previously announced that Silent Hill: Homecoming would be coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in late September, but it seems new plans are afoot, as at Leipzig it has been announced that game will now be shipping in November. It is unknown what excatly has caused this delay, but it seems the game needs that extra bit of polishing that only extra dev time can bring.

Silent Hill V will be the first console based game in the series not to be developed by Team Silent, but instead by The Collective. Their most notable game has been Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure."
